  1. Ah yes my cousin, whom sadly I couldn't talk to much or joke around like w usually do, since I'm either behind him or he would be behind me. I MISSED YOU @Arman
  2. For sure likewise, and just as a side note I drove a 2 door Pajero last night (nothing too serious we just wanted to get to a place and that person didn't trust themselves to drive in the sand.) so I got in the car, turned on 4 wheel drive, I didn't even reduce air pressure in the tires and the Pajero was floating on the sand, I didn't even need to give any gas. now I know why I see so many 2 door Pajero drivers.
  3. I had a great drive being in sweep as always. I think everyone should drive in sweep at least one time just to make their drive more challenging 😉. @Rahimdad thank you for being an amazing lead, I loved your banter and jokes over the radio, I'm sure half of the time I was laughing instead of driving. @Wrangeld thank you for joining the drive, the briefing was hilarious and I loved every moment of it. Your self recover guidance was even better. I hope I made you proud for being in sweep @Rahimdad, I learned a lot from both @Rahimdad and @Wrangeld that day.
  4. I think we will become good friends and drive mates for n the future inshallah. Inshallah soon one day I will go from sweep to second lead so I can learn to navigate better in the virgin desert sands and to make better decisions and choose better route options. Inshallah everyone will be proud and enjoy you leading the drive as much as I know I will in sweep! Hope I can get a few amazing pictures of all our cars, thankfully I have my uncle with me to be my Camera man 😂
  5. @Rahimdad sorry I haven’t been replying or reacting. I’ve been super busy this week. I was waiting for the convoy line up and when I saw I was in sweep I literally jumped and shouted in joy, my family thought I was crazy 😂. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Im sad for the people that left the drive due to their personal things and hello to all the other people joining. @Thomas Varghese I was hoping to take some nice car pictures with you, but inshallah next time we will get to drive together. @Rahimdad inshallah I will make you proud as a your sweep team, I hope to learn more from the whole Carnity team!
  6. I am speechless on what I just read. I was imagining in my mind just people sitting around a campfire and @Ale Vallecchi just telling stories. I miss the times where we could all gather in giant group and bbq or make a giant bonfire and talk or listen to music. Inshallah all this goes well and I hope to hear @Ale Vallecchi tell his stories while we eat delicious different types of food. Great story telling!!
  7. alright sweet, thx I was wondering where the airbag fuse is. Yea for sure, I wasn't planning on doing anything as of yet, the car runs beautifully with traction control off and ESC off, I was just wondering if a kill switch would be worth it. On my second AD drive after I learned about the magic of holding the traction control button I was drifting beautifully between dunes, you know the types of drifting where sand is flying in your car and above your head.
  8. Oh yea for sure. I hope to be in sweep this time again. I found it really helped me improve my dune climbing and route choice by watching other people try. Also I get to hone my skills on helping other people navigate a stuck or a refusal. I love helping people when it comes to these situations because you learn so much!
  9. Yea I found that out last week after my first AD drive when the ESC was giving me problems in tight dunes. I haven't found anything yet on kill switches on pickups sadly. I need to ask Green Auto Works if they do something like that.
  10. @Rahimdad you said you wanted to go on a drive with me in another post, ask and you shall receive. I'm ecstatic about this drive fossil rock is such a nice area. I've been camping there before overnight. The sunrise is AMAZING. See you soon inshallah!! Cant wait to drive with you again @Thomas Varghese
  11. To turn off ESC you hold the traction control button for 5 seconds and it will say "ESC OFF" after i did my tank of a car was keeping up with Pajero's and Wranglers. Im not sure what model you have but it should be the same.
  12. alright will do, no problem. Thank you! Ill try to stay near you when we Inshallah when we meet again 🤣
  13. Sweet, ill make sure to go over a dune smoothly next time and hopefully see you on another drive!
  14. Good Afternoon. I had a problem during one of my Abu Dhabi drives where my ESC was turned on (I didn't know how to turn it off. I do now thought after some research) but the regular traction control was off where while trying to drift in between tight dunes so I don't fall in a ditch my engine would be shut off momentarily and traction control would initiate. It gave quite some trouble on that drive, and some of the crew and fellow members told me to either install a kill switch for all the traction control options or to remove the fuses. Where can I go to install one on my car (I drive a ford F150 4 door 2017) and can that kill switch also be used to turn off all the other un-wanted things like the airbags? If my fellow pickup enthusiasts (or anyone that has a kill switch on their cars) can help me out and share their experience on how it works on their car and if there is a garage specifically for Pickups (just like the well known jeepers garages) Thanks!
  15. imp totally prepared to get stuck because most of my off roading experience (before carnity) is helping other people get out of stucks or refusals just by watching and helping not necessarily driving. Excellent example of Iron Man, im kind of a HUGE marvel fan 🤣 Im glad everyone around me is helpful and awesome really amps up the drives fun level. Inshallah see you soon! would love to drive with everyone in this club hopefully! Absolutely agree I miscalculated and let go of the throttle too early because I thought I had enough momentum, thankfully I had enough traction in the back wheels to just get me over the crest so gravity can do the rest.
  16. This is my second Abu Dhabi drive and it was even more exciting and challenging than the last. I loved being in sweep I learned more on how to traverse very badly disturbed sand and how to make my way around sticky situations furthermore I learned how to help others either climb a dune, come down from a dune safely or help someone get unstuck. Overall it was a very well balanced ride of fun, learning and adrenalin. Thank you @Asif Hussain for the help and guidance. hope to see everyone soon. Sadly I couldn't take many pictures or videos most of my time was spent concentrating or helping., 🤣😅
  17. Thank you everyone for the amazing fun and the great learning experience. Thank you @Gaurav and @Jeepie for your guidance on how to get out of a sticky situation. I learned a lot. Hope to see everyone next time! P.S. I posted the video of the Ram getting stuck because I want to know how to avoid that since I drive an F150. Any advice?
  18. I cant wait for this drive tomorrow, another Abu Dhabi drive should be fantastic, hope to see you all there!!
  19. @Frederic @Gaurav @Srikumar Thank you for the clarification!
  20. alright so if there are 3 people waitlisted plus me(total 4 waitlisted), those 3 would get priority and if there is another space only then id be able to go on drive X (thus meaning id have to leave my drive Y. Just to make sure I understand this properly.
  21. So I was wondering, I want to join drive X but its full, however drive Y is open. Can I join drive Y and be on the waitlist for the drive X? What is the system you guys use for stuff like? Thank you!
