Indeed a fantastic evening and great start to the weekend. @Chaitanya D Doc my second drive with you and enjoyed every bit of it, night driving was a good learning (my first drive after sunset) as you mentioned it’s at a different pace but needs more than 100% attention as it’s easy to lose track and end up in an unwanted situation. @Foxtrot Oscar Angela thanks for all the support and hope to drive one under your leadership soon. thanks to everyone in the convoy for a smooth drive (if I remember correctly we only had to get shovels out twice, no ropes at all), we should all be proud of our achievement and thanks again to Marshal and Sweep for leading and mentoring us today.

@Wrangeld Hi Richard any chance i could join this drive. I had to back out of Ale's drive as was not sure i could join tomorrow morning but i know now i can (i am also checking with Chaitanya and Rahimdad if there are any openings in their drive).

Hi @Ale Vallecchi unfortunately yes, i was looking forward to be on this drive and trust me still hopeful i can in case someone else backs out later tonight and i am able to confirm my attendance. @Thomas Varghesenot just family we also think you gone bonkers 😁... whatever works for you buddy go for it...

@Ale Vallecchi I have a late evening work call which may end up with me working tomorrow morning (wont be sure till the call is completed, about 9:30-10pm tonight), hence its only fair for me to let someone else who is able to confirmed to join the drive. Once i know i can do the drives tomorrow morning will look for any available slots in this drive or any other eligible drive. let me know if i should remove my RSVP from this drive.

Hey @Thomas Varghese none of us can say what is right or wrong so whatever makes you happy. All i can say is, passion is important but you need to enjoy your hobby and not be obsessed with it. Enjoy the journey buddy not the destination. Not getting the promotion is important or getting out in the desert is?, i did 2 drives last weekend a FB+ followed by a NB and honestly after doing the NB i felt i should be doing the NB drives for ever, just happy to be out there and learn every time we are out, promotions will come automatically with time. This is just me and what i think, doesn't mean you feel the same, hence do what you feel is right for yourself. You will be missed (if you decide to move away) for your support on the drives, your enthusiasm and the lovely pictures you took...take care of your health and hope to see you on one of our drives soon. These are difficult times for everyone but our past is our testimony of what we were and where we are today, like you said you have built your business with nothing i am sure you can do it again as you are wiser and more experienced today than what you were 8 years ago, stay strong.

I was looking at the clock and it took less than 1 min for the 10 slots to go....

In my opinion he was fighting gravity..... not really sure what happened in the first instance but you can hear in the audio something the driver did wasn't correct (Also evident from the amount of sand behind).... As i learnt driving a Warngler they do fishtail and if you are not controlling the speed and direction you ask for trouble. to summarize my thoughts... he came in at a high speed (possibly crisscrossing the dune) and lost control (See the car's direction at 0.01 and 0.02 sec) then he tried to steer up (should have steered down instead) and with high speed his car fishtailed which just helped in flipping over

@Kalahari thanks for your feedback and will keep that in mind any other suggestions are welcomed (since you were driving behind us you had a better view of where i can improve). @Jeandre Bezuidenhout, thanks for keeping our surroundings clean, I don't think i have discarded anything in the desert and if it was me or from my car it would be purely unintentional or purely due to wind and i do apologies if it was from my car.
