  2. Last evening/night drive with @Chaitanya D I used a small light similar to this one https://adventurehq.ae/products/nite-ize-spotlit-light-disco-stainless-steel-glow-and-flash-modes, perhaps it was not too bright to be noticed, because without a doubt it was outpowered by the lights of the car behind me, what you are recommending seems much better and appropriate for a night drive. Thank you @Chaitanya D!
  3. Good day everyone - @Lorenzo Candelpergher it was a "Mighty Drive" indeed over a diverse terrain, the technical warm-up was a fantastic start to bring me to the concentration level the drive required, followed then by the long dunes where I am sure everyone in the convoy had fun with. The great pace continued under the lead of @Yousef Alimadadi, Bravo! I too hope to join one of your drives soon. A big thank you to CF and Sweep respectively: @Ahab Shamaa and @Tero Vallas. As to my silence during the drive, there were two reasons, firstly it was a fun drive and I was immersed in its enjoyment, and secondly, as I told @Shehab Alawadhi, I was doing my best to maintain speed and momentum on the churned sand whilst running away from the F150 which seemed was riding those dunes without much effort Have a nice week ahead and see you all soon on the sand, inshallah!
  4. @Lakshmi Narasimhan perhaps you already came across this post, if not I recommend it, you will find it informative and some comments there align with the spirit of your post 😎.
  5. @Ale Vallecchi a great drive indeed, particularly because the route you led us through, from Faqa to Qudra, is something I had been looking forward to explore. Reflecting on the experience, criss-crossing is an area to focus on . Even though the terrain threw at us some challenges, I feel we had a good pace, thank you once again for leading us all through, and also to @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ & son, and @Abu Muhammad for keeping the convoy moving and supporting when needed. @GauravSoni, @Rob Harper, @Jack Thomas, @Niki Patel and @Tariq Carrimjee, it was a great pleasure to drive with all of you. A side note: I read somewhere that the lifespan of date palm trees is, in average, 100 years, I wonder then if those palms buried in sand were not remains of an old farm. Looking forward to a 2nd LRP Experience. Have a great week ahead.
  6. @Chaitanya D - thank you, it was a great drive yesterday and a good opportunity to get a taste of a night drive. As always, a pleasure to drive with all, we sure had fun. Have a great weekend ahead!
  7. This is the essence of all this, right? There is more to learn apart from driving: recovery, terrain, navigation, drive in and out safely, etc. Enjoy the sand!
  8. Thank you Richard @Wrangeld and hope to join one of your drives soon!
  9. Good morning @Chaitanya D - Thank you for informing about the change of date, unfortunately I won't be available on 15th April and will not be able to attend, however I look forward to another opportunity for an evening/night drive. Please remove me from the waitlist. Kindest regards.
  10. @Rahimdad thank you for your kind words, Daniel and I look forward to join one of your drives again.
  11. Congratulations @Rob Harper, good driving and teamwork, well deserved!
  12. Thank you guys, I am delighted to receive the promotion and look forward to continuous learning and supporting within the Carnity community.
  13. @Luca Palanca Falsini, a great and challenging drive, thank you for your guidance. Also, thanks to @Lorenzo Candelpergher and to @Shehab Alawadhi for keeping the convoy in movement. As usual, a pleasure to drive with the rest of convoy members and hope to see you soon in the sand. I took a few pictures and have posted them in the gallery, hope you like them. Have a nice rest of the weekend. ~MC
