I'd absolutelly recommend using the manual shift, for the reasons above, and having better control, and at the end is a lot more fun. It may take a drive or two to get the feel, but after that there is not going back to D.
I did the 2in lift, but many others didn't, personal preference i guess, maybe try it stock and decide later. With the lift I got 40mm spaces each side, more so to keep stability in check. Runs perfectly.
Cheers!
Hey @Chaitanya Dand team, thanks for the amazing drive and your leadership over a very long convoy. Looking forward for more weekday drives like this, cheers!
Thanks @Wrangeld! I honestly don't feel frustraded as these adventures may not always go as planned. Watching you and the team working around the challenges and providing great guidance and leadership was an invaluable lesson learned. The drive had some cool highlights too, i did learn a thing or two today on driving in manual and energy management.
See you on the desert soon.
Cheers!
Thanks man!
I was also a bit concerned about that, but I believe if an airbag is deployed, chances are you really need it, a bump here and there is not able to do it.
Hi @nr51mesand @Frederic, the fuse to be removed is the f26 (labeled mod esp) only for disabling abs and TC.
I don't know for the airbags though, have done newbie drives with it and hit couple of bumps with no susprises.
Will investigate further, let me know what you find.
Thank you @Foxtrot Oscarand supporting team for this unforgetable drive!
This afternoon/evening was full of challenges and achievements for everyone. I only saw great drivers around
Cheers!
