You even managed to include some technical portions so that the Dubai guys don't miss too much Al Qudra 😅 Thanks @Rizwanm2 and all for the support in the recoveries !

True, sometimes, it just "doesn't come" and you just contemplate your loss of momentum with frustration... In some cases i manage to overcome by lifting slightly the gas pedal, and then down progressively to avoid issue number two... but not always. I guess this will come with experience, this combination of anticipation, selection of the "line", and this magic touch with the foot...

@PaoloMaraziti, don't tell anyone, I drive in D (4H) most of the time, downshifting manually in very very rare occasions (not more than twice during this drive). The FJ is such a capable vehicle

Thank you @Gaurav and all for your continuous support and encouragement during the past 6 months. It was a great learning curve, initiated by @Emmanuel and @Ale Vallecchi. I’ve really appreciated the patient guidance from marshals, leads and support team that allowed me to build confidence and discover this exciting activity. And it is only the beginning !! Special thanks to @Islam Soliman, having lead almost 1/3 of my drives, always searching for new challenges, never hesitating to take a full convoy in tricky technical areas, @Kailasfor the initiation to the night drives, and the always intense and fluid routes, @Lorenzo Candelpergherfor the high climbs and breathtaking bowls, and to my FJ fellows @Chris Wing, @Hisham Masaad, @Niki, @PaoloMaraziti And to all the others, it is always a pleasure to meet and share experiences with the regulars and new faces. Hi @JonaI'm driving with great pleasure an FJ with the stock tires (Dunlop Grandtrek AT22), considered HT as per @Niki. Honestly, it was only in very very few occasions, that I was missing something because of the tires. I would totally concur with @Ale Vallecchi , @Niki, @PaoloMaraziti, keep HT or stock AT tires, and enjoy the FJ world !!

Dear @Lorenzo Candelpergher, amazing drive this morning, for sure one to remember. Discovering the magnitude of the bowls, the dimensions of the dunes, the depth of the descends and the unbelievable heights to climb was amazing. Thank you for the lead, and the detailed report. As you mentioned, I had my wake-up call in the first bowl, and then was fully awake to enjoy every piece of it ! What a thrill 😀😀 ! Thanks to everyone in the convoy, it was nice to see new faces and the mutual support and team spirit was excellent, along with the skills and determination required today. Recoveries and problem solving are part of leaning. You had more than your part today, hopefully the drives will be smooth. Thank you @M.Seidam for the sweep, and the company at the back of the convoy, @Rizwanm2 for the support. Definitely waiting for the next Abu Dhabi drives !
