Refreshing drive today before work. Still sad that @Lorenzo Candelpergher could not make it, however, @Luca Palanca Falsini was a great substitute today! Two pop-outs like last Wednesday are starting to make me believe the desert is cursed on Wednesdays but they do make for some nice learning on how to fix them. Always nice to see @Lakshmi Narasimhan and great meeting you @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil. Hope to see all of you again! Stay safe. -
Congrats @Darren Brooke! Good to see that someone is bringing some American muscle. 05 Tahoe. One of the strongest chassis out there but also very heavy (thats one thing our cars have in common . Cant wait to see you in action 💪

For a first time fewbie drive I think you will be an amazing sand driver. You had courage and bravery whiles still being safe. You sir... were flying through the dunes! It was a pleasure driving with you I WAS WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PICK THAT UP!!!!! Speed aaaaaand powaaaaa 😂

Thank you everyone! Truly supportive and collaborative community we have here! Cannot wait to meet more and more people on the sand! Be safe and never stop the dig and clawww! I am still searching. There are very few if any high profile tyres which fit my rims... I guess I will also look for "medium profile" if you know what i mean. Every cm of extra sidewall helps -
Hello @Wrangeld I hope you are well. I am installing tow hooks for the front since some time but they are still being fabricated for the G-class. The rear is no issue so hope I will still be permitted to drive. Sorry for the inconvenience. The g-class is supposed to have them stock but since i didnt need them yet I had not noticed they were mysteriously missing... I am going to my guy tomorrow to remove the skid plate and see if they are being covered up.

Ah ok. I was starting to wonder why im being removed even from the newbie drive. I understand it is my first time with carnity so I have to start somewhere. Thank you for the welcome! I shall work my way up Cant wait to meet you all see you on the sand!
