  3. Welcome to the community mate! Any Jeep owner such as @Looper above or myself will tell you to go for a Jeep. It is a lifestyle. The most iconic offroader, lots of utility, safety and most of all... offroad capability. I've owned almost every generation of the wrangler and the JLs are probably my second favorite after the TJ (which is good since you want a new car anyways). Based on the criteria you mentioned above I would recommend that you get a Wrangler JL Sport. When you have some spare time, go visit some off-road showroom. It will give you some perspective. I know you said no mods but some are very important for the longevity of the car. Customs Off-road sell fully loaded JL sports with upgraded suspension, bumpers, tow hooks, lights, etc (all the essential upgrades to avoid risking damaging the car during off-road and making it more capable) for under 250k. I've seen some beautiful brand new 2022s go for about 180k. Depending on how far you think you will take your offroading... both the 2 and 4 door are equal in capability. A 2 door will eventually start slightly outperforming a 4 door because of its shorter wheelbase and lower weight but it’s a really small difference. All my Jeeps were 2 doors because I liek the look more and they are my desert toys and I also have a second car as my daily. There are many custom off-road shops that you can visit. Those are my 2 cents. JEEPER for LIFE 😎
  4. Imrannn, I had to sort some stuff out which left me Jeepless. We'll catch up tomorrow! Good to see some familiar faces haha.
  5. Hey @Gaurav Im Back!!! I know it's full but I'd love to join this chill drive if its no problem with you If you need a CF or sweep it would be my pleasure.
  6. Great drive today. If there was a level between fewbie and fewbie plus... that's what I would class this drive as. Diverse and exciting. Nahel is a great area for criss crossing and looong sidees. Thank you @Ale Vallecchi for organising and giving me the pleasure of sweeping. I hope I was helpful to everyone . See you all again soon on the sand. Dig and Claw!
  7. I am a Jeeper but have many friends with Pajies. Along withe the bash plate I would remove/replace the sidesteps with something more streamlined as well. I have never seen a Pajero owner who goes off-road without sidesteps that aren't bent. They are the first things to go when you crest or do straight ups and downs. Removing them will give you some extra clearance as well. Other than that Pajero is sturdy as hell... no mods needed apart from maybe a set of geolanders.
  8. Eeeeasy Peeeeasy. Well done and deserved mate. Time to unleash the horses. Remember to stay humble but enjoy the new pace. Dig and Claw!
  9. @Gaurav Hi! By any chance did you record this drive/track. I'd love to revisit this with one of my friends
  10. Congrats mate! Can't wait to see the Jimny conquer some bigger dunes Enjoy.
  11. @Rafey Hashmi This pic is saved on my computer as "Beige Buddies". Can't wait to take some more and Good to see you again soon mate
  12. @Ale Vallecchi @Frederic Let me know if you need some support for this drive... Fred's drive only seems to be getting more crowded 😆 Plus he already has a bunch of IM boys to back him up
  13. @Frederic Hi, I noticed that the waitlist for your drive is piling up. Let me know if you are planning to increase the size of the convoy. If not, I'd be happy switching to Ale's drive to make more room. At your service.
  14. Absolutly gorgeous pics @Luke K P. Good drive from the whole convoy. Thanks @Gaurav for organising and @Frederic long time no see. Have a good sunday lads!
  15. If I may share my two cents. KUMHO, a Korean brand makes some very robust, high quality tires as well. They are very similar to KO2 BFGs but roughly 25% cheaper. They have thicker than average sidewalls meaning they are more pop out resistant as well which is a BFG unique selling point (Pop outs are ofc always a possibility with any tire unless you have accompanying bead lock rims as well). I would rate both BFGs and KUMHOs the same for off-road performance (top tier), However, one aspect where they even outshine the BFGs is their on-road comfort. They still look great like BFGs, but have slightly more streamlined tread/pattern making them quieter on the road and at higher speeds. Definitely check them out! Good luck on your search and hopefully you choose the right tires
  16. Great driving from everyone. Thanks commander in chief @Ale Vallecchi for the bumpy ride 😆 Always great to see @Andrew John Melvill, @Giacomo, @J-P L and @Ishak Pleasure to meet you @Victor Socaciu. If you need any more help or recommendations on car mods let me know. Lots of robbers and scammers hiding in plain sight in Dubai so you gotta watch out. See you all next time. Keep Digging. Keep Clawing. 💪
  17. Hey @Ale Vallecchi Joined a bit late but would be my pleasure to be your CF. Seems like you could use one
  18. Hi @RiadJL Its because google maps doesnt see the left turn as "legal" when you come from the east and tries to bring you from the other way. Like I point out in the arrow. But it is a legal turn and you are correct. E66 followed by faqa road heading west is the fastest way
  19. Thanks! I got it fixed right away and went for a teraflex heavy duty joint :))) @Luke K P best of luck with yours.
  20. This drive was humorous with lots of laughs, great break times and even greater dunes. But it was also undeniably cursed. 4 popouts each becoming progessively more complicated to fix. Luke lost his cv axle during the recovery of the last popout and on the way home, 15 minutes from my house, I lost my rear driveshaft cv joint as well. Loud clunk on the highway followed by clicking (the symphony of a broken cv joint). Had to put it in 4wd to power the front wheels and get to my garage which was just around the corner. But hey, that joint did its job for 13 years. All this in one drive.... coincidence? You decide. I've been in nahel a lot of times now but on this drive it truly earned my respect. See you all next time. Keep digging, keep clawing.
  21. Correct. https://www.google.com/maps/place/ADNOC+Service+Station+|+Sweihan+(960)/@24.4625483,55.3362477,14.75z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x3e5ff221216c3273:0x6708a1cce17275a2!8m2!3d24.4712612!4d55.3407969!16s%2Fg%2F1hdz8syxr?entry=ttu
