  1. Thanks @sertac for the drive, very well mixed technical and climbs, and good enough amount of shoveling. Compare to the last visit to Shuwaib/area 53 (13 drives ago), I feel a lot more confident to face the continous climbs and technical parts, but definitely need to work on the climbs more, while getting the skills ready for the year end Liwa trip😈 Thanks everyone for the help and support during recoveries, look forward to future drives with you! few pics will be in the gallery after 30 mins.
  2. Hi @sertac could you please share the convoy list and radio channal? Thanks
  3. Hi @sertac could you please consider me as 1st drive? Schedule changed, Saturday drive isn't really feasible for me
  4. Thanks everyone for the help and support, I have reached the destination safely, and will sort out the issue. Take care and enjoy. *Update: Changed the battery and the car is back to normal. Will not miss this weekend✌️
  5. Dana I believe is the stock axle for Rubicon, but I haven't heard any Wrangler users broke their solid axle in desert drive, maybe there are. Alot of us drive either front or full independent suspension vehicles, and the axle is more vulnerable, hardly hearing anyone breaks it. (I think someone's Ram broke once only). My opinion is not necessary in desert drives. Since solid axle is the stronger one. Guesse you are getting the bumper replacement for last drive s damage?
  6. Im making this as my profile picture, this looks so good! Thanks Veedooshee
  7. @mikaeel shaik I see... the GCC brochure only mentioned the rear diff lock... I eventually looked up to a Chinese bit of the info found out that its a LSD that only works at spin difference of 120r/min (not sure if an LSD should still be considered as a locker). Does it actually help in recovery scenarios?
  8. Congrats Mikaeel !, hope to see the RX8 shine soon!
  9. @mikaeel shaik I have found few suppliers in china that offers spring spacer, you can text my WhatsApp 0528402096 Rear Diff lock I did research that only it exists on the full options GCC RX8, if yours are one of them, you should find the button near 4wd system control nob
  10. @Damien Ranjit Make sure you replace with GCC original radiator or the aftermarket one with the same/larger thickness, I believe it's 32mm or 36. I had slight overheating issue with the thinner one. I have been using 10mm aluminum skid plate, so far so good, with no obvious dmg yet. And it's my confidence to drive aggressively But perhaps You should consider lifting the car a bit. R51 ground clearance is horrible. I spent 500 AED got a full set of suspension spacer on eBay. The lift is obviously helping, and not affecting onroad driving experience, but there is a slight imbalance of tire consumption, as you are not changing arms to match the lifted suspension length
  11. Voice control gate?? 🤣🤣Can someone record the part that saying it and door opens l??🙏
  12. Have been to Faya twice with Fred and was wondering that a higher level drive in Faya must be exhilarating, and it was indeed! Thank you @Lorenzo Candelpergher for making a mid week morning drive, and bring us to the Faya dunes. This drive definitely pushed me a lot beyond my limits and made me a better driver. Surely I still need to work on the climbings, I have failed 2 major climbs today. A lot of my 2nd LD experience was: Charlie you need to keep more space (Fewbie & Newbie). And I think it will never apply to Lorenzo's drive. Half of my view was the grey jeep being so far away and the other half was only the tracks left behind. If I hadn't accidentally taken a large cup of coffee, the grey jeep would have escaped from me before sunrise Thank you all for joining today's drive and I believe that we have done well, everyone of us had tremendous fun and adrenaline rush. @PaoloMaraziti @Ashok chaturvedi @JeromeFJ @Pacific @Ranjan Das @GauravSoni Till next time!
