  1. Congrats @Sunil Mathew ! time to sit back and enjoy newbie drives?
  2. Hi Angela, I have removed myself from this drive, dont see my car getting fixed before end of Tuesday. See you next time.
  3. Now I understand why Raptors are usually at the second half of the convoy. there is no better sand churner than a Raptor (especially the grey ones). The trenches left by 2 Raptors front of me were deep enough to burry my little Pathfinder... Once again, congrats @Lorenzo Candelpergher for your promotion, this is my first time driving with you. Even tho it may be a newbie drive, but definitely one of the most wonderful drive I have had in the area. Look forward to more drives with you! And thank you @Wrangeld @Alex Raptorand @darren thompson for the flawless support. Till next time.
  4. Congrats @Islam Soliman you absolutely deserve this promotion, and I'm really happy for you! You know how much I love your drives ☺️
  5. Wow, @mikaeel shaik you have done something I want to do but I haven't done, taking a Chinese 4x4 to desert. I can have a look of the options for you in China if you want, you need to show me the fron the rear suspensions, because Chinese manufacturers tend to sell something differernt to overseas market. for example supplying BJ40 with CVT and BJ40 is a proper 4x4 in China even with 2 differential locks. BTW does your RX8 have the rear lock? its standard for China market
  6. I have been using pedal commander for quite long time, it's very useful to control upshift and downshift by pedal only, and it brings rev up before a huge climb quickly. I have driven almost all Toyota cars available in the region, Toyota's pedal setting is really gentle, you really have to tame it by more aggressive daily driving, and understand the tricks to up and down shift. Few sequoia and LC 5.7 owner friends of mine are happier with their cars after using the pedal commander, without it their big 5.7's acceleration feel more or less like the v6 at streets. @PaoloMaraziti you can give a try, some vendors they let you try before purchase, and FJ's model should be the same to Prado/LC which are common in UAE
  7. Congrats @Mohamad Anwer! surely you will enjoy more in fewbie drives with your very capable ride
  8. @M.Seidam I believe there is a option to save the video as 3 mins per clip, I am using 70M A400 model. I no longer have the availability on Friday morning, hopefully there will be more Saturday morning trips. After watching your videos and hearing @PaoloMaraziti's first time AD experience, I must make my way to AD one day!
  9. Enjoyable drive with beautiful terrain, Thanks @Frederic for taking us today. the only imperfections are the amount of trash humans left behand and the amount of tracks. Would be interesting to have a fewbie drive in Faya, driving on the rim of the bowls while climbing up.😛
  10. I ran on HT tires till fewbie + (15 drives almost), untill one of them had air leakage and tire shops couldnt identify the reason. if you get a used car with 4 good HT tires, perhaps sell them as a set and get new AT tires are your best option. you dont want surprises in desert.
  11. Congrats on achieving the 100 drives @Islam Soliman!! And thank you for the trucker drive this week, I knew what was coming and had been excited for it. Could have enjoyed a lot more if there weren't overheating issue and the back pain. Driving behind @JeromeFJ was really enjoyable. and thank you @Alex Raptor for helping the recoveries and being the flawless CF. didn't see much at the back but often heard @varunmehndiratta's warm confirmation that it's all good at back untill at the end when @Danish Mohammad had to take over the SW due to a radio faliure . till next time!
  12. Well done Chinthaka, knew this was happening and well deserved! Enjoy the rank and debut drive! Hope to see you and Alain soon
