Dear Desert Wanders @Federico Galbieri, @Abdullah N, @Rafey Hashmi, @Mehmet Volga, @Renier Venter, @Shaun J, @Robk, @frederic demolder, @Haneef Thayyil, @Mark B, @Aser, @Ahmed Farouk, @Julien Recan, and @Ali-M First of all let me thank each and everyone of you for showing up on time and helping me enjoy the mornings sunrise with a smile and some good cheer. our drive took us starting off at the beautiful Nahil desert leaving Abu Dhabi and crossing into Dubai and ending up at the Solar park. the terrain was a little tricky in places with soft dry sand on top and hard wet sand underneath. In some areas it was also hard on top turning almost to stone. We only had two refusals and zero stucks the whole drive which is testament to how well you all drove. we did have a couple of pop outs that were dealt with effectively and efficiently by the support team of Mehmet and Mark. Great second lead by @frederic demolder well done was a pleasure to have you behind me. @Mark B brilliant sweep my friend keeping me informed all the way until we started to inflate @Mehmet Volga fantastic support as always, a pleasure to have you in the convoy @Renier Venter hope you get everything sorted mate let me know if I can help with anything at all. Wanted to add that the true meaning of car its came out on the drive, Car plus Community, you guys were patient, knowledgeable and worked so well together as a team it was incredible to be a part of that type of community spirit. Well done to you all 😀😀😀😀 enjoy the rest of your weekend and hope to see you all again very soon in the sand pit

DRIVE DESCRIPTION Welcome to Carnity Off road Club Fewbie drive, meeting at Nahil Abu Dhabi and ending at Solar Park in Dubai. This will be a longish drive across the two emirates so please ensure you bring plenty of water, snacks, smiles and enthusiasm with you. This Drive is not recommended for passengers that may be susceptible to car/travel sickness. We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie and above When: 17 February 2024, Saturday Meeting time: 07:00 - Sharp (Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/SoHMSaqi3nPWy3wH6 Approximate finish time: 11:00 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Mandatory off-road gears: Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, Tow Rope, 2 Shackles and fire extinguisher. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12 PM. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you find you are unable to join, so your spot can be taken by others in the waitlist. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, if an RSVP attendee removes themselves, you will be moved from the waitlist to the RSVP list as an attendee. We had a couple of stucks and refusals but as I said at the beginning of the drive this is what we want from in order for you to learn from your own stucks as well as others stucks. @Lala G great second lead, you did everything right and made the drive a success and a smooth dried for those behind you @Mohit Gurnani great job at the back sweeping the convoy, was a pleasure having you back there knowing everything was under control. have a great rest of your weekend one and all and see you very soon in the sand for some more adventures :)
