  2. Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for the warm wishes of congratulations and support on my promotion to trip lead. It is very humbling to get so many, but this just goes to show the strength of the community of this great club. This is the start of a new journey for me. That I cannot wait to get my teeth into and continue learning and sharing my experiences with others. The journey and learnings to this point with Carnity have been amazing. The fantastic support and encouragement from all of the trip leads and the support team members (all too many to mention) is second to none and has definitely made this a most pleasant journey. Couple that with meeting so many like minded, fun, enthusiastic and genuinely nice people we call members makes it all the more special. My first independent lead is just on the horizon and I am as enthused and excited as I was when I joined my first master class with @Frederic here’s hoping it goes as well as that did 🤞😀 Thank you all again for the messages of support, and hope to see you all in the sand again very soon.
  3. @Thomas Collins Jayakumar I note that you are still a newbie and this drive is unfortunately a Fewbie drive so I will have to remove you from the waitlist. Please make sure you are signing up for the drives within your level to avoid disappointment. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

  10. DRIVE DESCRIPTION The Batayeh area, scattered with vegetation, farms, and lots of animals around, is not a dunebashing area. However it's scenic and offers lots of tight and difficult to maneuver dunes, and with the sand getting softer now will be a nice shovel practice ground. Take a nice breakfast before joining so you can help shoveling Revisiting this drive as it was so much fun last time despite the lack of shoveling 😆 We request every member that joins this drive to go through the below information and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquettes and responsibilities. 11. Thanks @Rizwanm2 for organizing such a fantastic drive, the terrain was amazing, and a big thank you to @GauravSonifor joining in and for leading a split convoy, moreover, allowing me to lead part of the way around, it was another great learning experience and super fun. Convoy 2 covered 70 km in a little under 3 hrs, pretty impressive given the terrain and a slight interruption from a Monitor Lizard . Well done @Imteeaz and thank you for the support and great sweeping duties performed flawlessly. Convoy 2 @Krishna R @Felix Obst @Mark B @Patrick van der Loo I hope you guys had as much fun as we did, it was amazing to see the skills on show today, hence why we were able to cover such a great distance with little to no refusals, this was testament to your driving skills so well done all. @Mark B hope the wife is feeling better. I am sure convoy 1 had as much fun as we did. @Ishak @Bjoern @Chris Wing @Mahmoud Taha @Looper @Zed (hope I did not miss anyone off) Stats with new app and video thanks @M.Seidam for sharing had fun playing with this.
