  5. Dear friends, ! What a beautiful day it has been ! Am sure you all had great fun, just like me ! Below some comparative stats which shows how beautifully you all drove ! @Frans M @Emanuel @frederic demolder @Issam Atra @Pacific @essam ibrahim @Mahmoud Taha @Mark B @george charbel @Xavi Moyano @JohanE @Gary F @Dan S @Rafey Hashmi @Imteeaz @Imran Asghar Convoy 1 drive report : The initial agreement was both convoy's to meet at Rock formation in 90 minutes time, and we had a close call, am sure if we watch the replay, both the convoys made it exactly on time, and had a great time, with a full group picture ! All the refusals were handled well by Support members without use of rope or shovel, except one, where coming down one of the dunes, I encountered some hard sand formations, which with the help of shovel, was quickly converted to passable debris, thanks to @Imran Asghar and @Varun Mehndiratta being my eyes outside , which then was handled quickly and we were again on the move ! @Varun Mehndiratta - Having a senior experienced member as SL is the best blessing one can have as new lead - thank you ! @Davie Chase - Thanks for the idea of Fayah - My recent fav area ! @Imran Asghar @Pacific - Thank you for being the CF supports and handling those couple of refusals with self recoveries - which made me have some relaxed time and @Mahmoud Taha - Once gain thanks for Sweeping the convoy and handling those refusals at the back ! @JohanE @frederic demolder - You both drove very very well, with no refusals ! Great control ! @essam ibrahim - You made all technical patches look easy and easy patches look technical - Just joking, you did great to day with the pace and the dunes we had on our way ! You were a hero ! @Dan S - You were another star today - with your machine, it was never easy am sure , but Not a single time I heard from you - am sure you enjoyed and @Frans M - already pleasure to have you , silence at the back was confirmation of how amazing experienced players you were See you all sooon in Desert !!

The plan is both convoys will move different routes, aim to gather at the stone formations for a photograph, and exit depending on the convoy flow, either at start point or towards Sweihan To avoid traffic jam and confusion, CONVOY 1 will park after the gate entrance on Left side and CONVOY 2 will park going few meters ahead at the bend as below :

  11. Dear Fellow desert wanders @Marek_was003 @Mahesh_ @Issam Atra @Sreenath G @Gurcharan Mehta @Mahmoud Taha ( Convoy 1 - with Deepak)/ @Looper) @Faraz94 @Arravind @Emanuel @Stan @Ishak @Deepak Eswar @Frans M @george charbel ( Convoy 2 - with @Simon D @Varun Mehndiratta firstly thank you all for showing up on time it was great to see you all absolutely so disciplined and on time - the best way to start the drive ! Post briefing the Convoy 1 started at 7 am and Convoy 2 , just after 10 minutes later . Convoy 1 Drive report While aiming for 52kms, but not taking any pressure, we decided to head towards Solar chimney as the intention was to cover Technical and Long range dunes . Thanks to the skill of entire convoy, I kept levelling up the drive and we kept moving swiftly initially through long range dunes, then getting a flavor of technical area, which was again happily accepted by the convoy members and with out the need of rope/shovel, the technical area was well completed. We then moved on to experience the long range dunes and the train continued on the lucrative ridges, which we kept moving from ridge to ridge until the first refusal where i was crested on a sharp ridge with hard sand , thanks to morning dew factor - the only refusal which required rope. Post ridges the drive offered us some vegetation and the convoy handled and dealt with it with immense patience. Looking at the time, we decide to exit towards Qudra solar park, and on the way we had a roller coaster ride with some sides which am sure , like me all of you too thoroughly cherished ! A big thank you to @Looper - which boosted my confidence , with you having my back. @Mahmoud Taha A great job at sweep my friend you kept me well informed and more importantly kept the convoy together at the back. Also assisting with the recoveries - which gave me some time to be relaxed and chilled while you managed those @Marek_was003 - You did great for your first FB drive - am sure in coming drives you will learn more on how to control those couple of instances of fishtailing . Thanks for capturing those amazing pictures ! , @Issam Atra @Mahesh_ and @Sreenath G, - the other fewbies of the convoy- You guys without exception drove fantastically and were very impressive. Special mention to you guys , that I could keep levelling up the drive. @Gurcharan Mehta - Jeep power , I know you had a relaxed drive with your breast ! I hope you all enjoyed the drive today as much as I did. Thank you all, and I look forward to seeing you again in coming drives ! Some stats for you from our drive for convoy 1

  14. Hi @Zeeshan Patel My suggestion - Irrespective of it, you should RSVP and add yourself to WL - The sooner you add yourself vs Others, the higher the chances of you getting confirmed, when the Convoy is extended or a confirmed member drops - Currently I dont see your RSVP on WL even - right ?
  15. Whats HBB ? @Mahmoud Taha - C'mon ! Dont be this lazy - the keys B and D on a keyboard are just 2 keys far if you go on left ;)
  16. Wishing u a very happy birthday @Frederic! and A year full of safe offroading- overlanding trips, Fullday, multidays too! Is the convoy on 2nd being treated for ur birthday with candies and cake?
  17. @Feras_Sh Was it Friday Drive or Sunday drive?😂, Both @Looper and @Simon D are doing Friday and Sunday drive, am sure u got confused with this and Friday drive😂! Right?
  18. @Sandeep Nayar U should instead hope to get more stuck during all ur NB/FB drives ! Remember : The more u get stuck the more you learn! So u were lucky one ! For eg: Am sure next time u have stucks, first thing you will go and check will be the tyre pressure - thanks to learnings frm stucks in ur previous drive:)
