  1. Great drive @Looper I really appreciate the variety of drives we experience in Carnity. Loved the fast pace and as always being in a long wheelbase at the back of a long convoy leads to some interesting situations, in the first portion of the drive there was a short double cross over which upset the Gladiator, made the right decision to come down with the other long wheelbases following. Shortly after this as we were coming down from a left sidey there was a cross over to the right , I witnessed @Joseph Raju crossing and didn’t think I was in the right position to come down and cross over without a potential flip, so tried to find an easy re route , unfortunately this led to an excellent crest situation, self recovery was not possible so @Mark B gave a good tug and we were on our way again. My only regret yesterday is I didn’t bring the camera to record the drive.
  2. @Krishna R @Frederic I just logged on to ask are we hoping to end the drive in style with the meteor shower. https://www.thenationalnews.com/uae/2023/08/07/how-to-watch-the-perseids-meteor-shower-in-uae-this-week/
  3. Congratulations @Mark B looking forward to watching you climb those steep dunes in your awesome Gladiator.
  4. When you got 4 wheels off the ground, travel doesn’t matter any more @Bravoecho
  5. Really great drive , a new perspective for me being sweep. I’ll be using my radio with the longer antenna for future drives , I suspected a few times my comms were not getting through. Also even with only 11 cars, the convoy seemed to stretch 300-500 meters at times. @Stumpy Paj I managed to get a good video of your perfect climb at iftar bowl. Nice job. https://share.icloud.com/photos/067bKkNifZA09F2Mi4fV2AUUA thanks @Hisham Masaad for finding me after my car decided the rear diff lock was having an error despite being off an the stability control had an error also being off. And giving me the opportunity to sweep. @Jaro Tuzinsky good drive and amazing Crests and the self recovery in the first one was excellent . @Ahmad Nerat great to catch-up. @Bravoecho switch those yokos around to the white lettering Good to see you again @Krishna R and @DP1011 @Mark B always good to talk gladiators and their endless upgrades.
  6. Yeah, after last weeks drive the right hand side was also coming off. Couldn’t put it off longer.
  7. Confirmed unless something changes the Sandrunner is currently having a new rear bumper fitted.
  8. @Varun Mehndiratta fantastic drive today , so smooth flowing, great to have the return of vegetation free routes.
  9. You have no idea I have looked at that scrambler photo many a time . Also Considering (minus the JP logo)
  10. @Mark B yes YOKOHAMA LT285/70R17 10 plys. Couldn’t push for a wheel And didn’t want to start on any other upgrades.
  11. Thanks @Varun Mehndiratta , I was gonna do an intermediate but I got new rubber to test. Impressions so far, not every road feels like I’m driving on gravel.
