With this inspiration @Mark B I finally got around to making a similar setup this weekend. No pics yet as it needs sanding and painting. But it held up very well on this weekends drive.

😭 in the reality of driving a car with mud terrains , although they certainly are a little more malleable as the temp rises .

Thanks @Looper a really enjoyable well paced Saturday morning drive. I had lot of fun , and I mean this in earnest it was fun, with the challenge of turning circles following the tracks of your SWB Wrangler. I looked up the specs JL , JLU and JT 34.5 feet = 10.52 meters 40.8 feet = 12.44 meters 44.5 feet = 13.56 meters Bonus points for ending the drive in a parking lot. always good to catch-up @Bjoern @Patrick van der Loo @Benjamin happy you got to try out the new jack and jack support board. It was also fun following directly behind you. @Jessica Lambert good to see you, hope the tire issue gets resolved . Let us know if it was a defect or just the tire itself. -
Nothing like cold hard data to give assurance , I’m still looking for tires to get off the mud terrains, torn between the Geolanders and BF Goodrich. Not seeing any of these Michelin tires pop up on the usual local tire pricing sites. Guess we need to call around.

Beautiful drive , excellent pace, really awesome to be on on a drive were the convoy clicks and keeps pace . 80km on a Saturday morning to boot too.. fantastic great lead @Davie Chase always appreciate the clear , concise and audible radio comms.

I really enjoyed the short tight convoy, Jeeps always have fun at the back of the convoy getting through the churn. infinite loops was a lot of fun as was the beautiful scenery at fossil rock. An on time finish is always highly appreciated when we have many other weekend commitments.
