  1. @Looper my dad @Gary F requested photos so I went wild! 😂 Definitely helped that I got first class tickets to seeing the crest master at work
  2. Eid Mubarak to all my friends at Carnity celebrating
  3. @Varun Mehndiratta great drive today! Congrats to your first 100 drives and to many more! everyone drove extremely well with a few stucks and refusals the convoy of 14 members managed to get out of the desert surprisingly well. even from the back the track wasn’t as churned up as I was expecting.
  4. congrats @Bashar Beasha looking forward to driving together
  5. congrats @Mark B enjoy the new rank, looking forward to seeing the gladiator push to new heights!
  6. @Frederic amazing drive today! we had some refusals and car problems, but these things happen, and we shouldn't dwell on them; instead, I'll reflect on them as a chance to learn something new. I had the opportunity of rope recovery practice (and please anyone who got videos/photos can reach me on my whatsapp 0585610117, or my Instagram 'benjethemarine'😁) And also, the chance to revisit the method of fixing a popout, which is always good to see these techniques carried out correctly and safely, so I have a reference for the future. The whole convoy drove well considering how soft the sand was this morning, possibly because of the warmer weather. looking forward to the next one @Chris Wing @Patrick van der Loo @Gary F @Stumpy Paj @Krishna R @Joji varghese @Joseph Raju @Mario Cornejo @Mohamad Anwer @Gurcharan Mehta
  7. Thank you doc @M.Seidam the drive was amazing. With very few stucks and refusals the track you has for us was perfect. The pace was something I really enjoyed with the drive it felt the whole convoy was fluid with barely any issues whatsoever it was great seeing you again @Krishna Rand I’ll see you again this morning it was nice to meet you @Haitham Khattab thanks for the tips and tricks on watching my jeeps temps Thanks again doc and I’ll look forward to the next one. Ramadan Kareem!
  8. Hi @Vijaya Kumar Doppa it’s all up to you of which you go for, but I highly suggest looking into getting a stock rubicon mostly because you’ll have much more ground clearance compared to other trims and larger tyres, making it the most capable jeep model for off-roading however other trims are also very capable of tackling the desert and mountainous terrain. As for myself I have a 2018 jeep wrangler sport trim, for this same reason I decided to go ahead and modify my car with a 2.5inch lift and a front skid plate. Apart from that I’ve had to replace a stock rear bumper; everything else is stock. Personally I recommend you do anywhere between 10-15 drives to get to know your car before you decide to add modifications if you have gone to a stock model. However you’ll probably find you don’t need them whatsoever.
  9. Weird. Never had a misfire. Apart from that I’ve found the jeep to be always very ‘peppy’ with only a few times I felt I didn’t have power under a heavier load
  10. @Gaurav to my surprise no. I’ve never noticed the engine or the oil get abnormally hot. I usually make sure I switch my displays between tyre pressure and oil pressure along with checking the engine temp. My engine temp is usually always on the cold side with one bar difference in the middle. When I get the car back I’ll make sure to monitor the engine temp closer especially after long climbs to make sure I haven’t been overseeing something.
  11. @AhmadTaha1988 That is a strange issue, although I have lost power usually when climbing and sometimes on the side of the dune, after a few drives, the onboard computer got use to the new driving style and the car consistently planted power down on dunes & roads. If your car is an automatic try using Tiptronic you'll find yourself using 2&1 to climb and 3 for cruising flatter areas. still might be a good idea to take @Gaurav advice on the situation though.
  12. good evening @JeromeFJ after ringing MOPAR it seems the jeep will be in the shop for a few more days. Because there was a leak found in the timing chain cover case, VVF seal, and crankshaft seal. The engine has to be completely disassembled i apologize for leaving it so late to notice but I was hoping for it to be released this afternoon. Have a good drive and weekend everyone! I’ll see you on the next one Jerome.
  13. Will do thanks @JeromeFJ I’m hoping I’m not being too optimistic with it being out by Saturday. Ideally I’m hoping today or tomorrow if not I’ll inform you.
  14. Thank you @M.Seidam I understand RSVP closes at 4 so if I hear from MOPAR and there is still space in your drive before it closes I’ll join back up again. But for the meantime count me not attending until further notice. Cheers
