  2. DRIVE DESCRIPTION The run from Al Khaznah toward Sayh Al Tuwaissah begins with wide‑open sabkha plains that ease you into the rhythm of the desert. The terrain starts gentle—hard‑packed sand with scattered ghaf trees—before rolling into long, sweeping dunes that rise gradually toward the horizon. It’s the kind of stretch where you can settle into a steady pace, reading the contours ahead and letting the landscape open up around you. The dunes here are broad and forgiving, perfect for carving smooth lines and feeling the transition from flat desert to true dune country. As you push closer to Sayh Al Tuwaissah, the terrain shifts into taller, more technical ridges that demand sharper attention. The dunes tighten, forming bowls and slipfaces that reward precise throttle control and clean cresting. The views widen dramatically from the higher ridgelines—endless waves of sand rolling toward the west—and the approach into Tuwaissah feels like arriving at a natural amphitheater of dunes. It’s a route that blends flow and challenge, offering a satisfying progression from open desert cruising to confident, high‑dune driving. This route is a point‑to‑point desert drive intended for controlled navigation between locations, not a dune‑bashing or high‑impact off‑road experience MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie PLUS and above Meeting time: 06:45 (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GVJ75KxYdhXnhXFw6 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. 8. Thanks for coming out last night everyone. Was great mid week break to grab a coffee and sample many different karaks with you all. In my excitement I forgot to take any photos after deflating.. 🤦 We pretty much followed the game plan, sticking to the long range dunes and staying high so we could get a nice view of the surrounding areas. It was a nice touch having a low hanging red cresent moon in front of us everytime we were heading westwards. Overall we had a great speed and made a long distance for a night drive! Great driving and team work! Hope to see you all for a drive again soon. @Alexanderrr @Ahmed Farouk @JC_E @Ash S. @ChrisW
