Newbie drive? What Newbie drive? Thankyou everyone for the amazing drive this morning. It might have been tagged as a newbie drive but we made such great pace and tackled so much fun terrain that you wouldn't imagine it was! @Menon Arun hope you enjoyed your first drive with the club! You certainly handled your machine well and got to see some of the fantastic scenery Abu Dhabi drives are popular for. Starting off passing nahel lake and seeing the black camels, we pushed west experiencing some nice up and over crossings, and getting to do some big sides in some of the half bowls. The views from the top were fantastic. We crossed the sabkhas in two groups. Trying to stop us from ingesting too much dust.. but luckily we had a cross wind and it was fairly easy to follow. As we headed east towards the exit, found out drives in smaller dunes that required a bit more precision driving but everyone handled it with ease, even the mini ridge we had to ride! Great way to spend a public holiday morning, thanks for guiding us @JeromeFJ See you all in the sand again soon. PS.
