  1. Ah, Feeling nice and refreshed after a good sleep Thanks again @Asif Hussain, wonderful Liwa experience. We started around 7:30amm, near the black camel farm deflating and saying our hellos, before Asif gave the briefing and convoy order to the backdrop of what sounded like 1000 sheep/goats waking up and getting angry at the farm across the road. 08:00 we were all moving heading down the dusty track towards some verrry big dunes in the background. Less than 5 minutes in we needed to do a couple of refusal loops before we got a few more stops due to soft sand and high pressure. Once we got everyone deflated nice and loooow we started flowing in a smooth fashion pushing further and further to the south. The terrain here was pretty tight and had a number of small pockets to watch out for, which everyone expertly navigated. Lots of gradual climbs here, building up elevation from dune to dune... @Marek the official photographer got down to the sabkha and managed to take some snaps of the rest of the convoy coming down the giant slip face in formation! cannot wait to see this pic. Unfortunately at the first break we had to lose @nithish468 as some issues back in dubai needed his attention. Hopefully you made it home quickly and got it all sorted. see you again soon. We moved back into the sabkhas and kept pushing south towards moreeb... Not sure which part of Liwa Festival village was more exciting... climbing the massive 300m 50 degree angle dune run after run... or driving straight across the round-a-bouts in the village 😅 After we wrapped up playing here we aimed south yet again towards the buggy dune... where we encountered a very unlucky porsche that had been left behind for recovery,. we skipped riding the buggy dune as chris showed us there was more than a few large bumps on that face. Next stop was a quick journey across the flats where we stopped in a large bowl to do some sidies and have coffee. pretty close to the saudi border at this point (2.8km from my measurements) so we had really come a long way. We started the return journey pretty rejuvenated and made our way through a number of high and S O F T dunes where we encountered a popout in a very tight little gulley. Thanks to everyone pitching in (and chris on the winch duties) we had that tyre back on the rim and ready to go... Asif started looping some very nice clean sabkhas together with a couple of small dune traversals in-between, which meant we got into a smooth and fast rhythm for the drive back. I was starting to get low on petrol but we managed to ride it back into liwa village to avoid stopping the flow. Fun Fact, my fuel light had come on and the computer was estimating 7km remaining as we rolled into festival village 😅 I was just looking at all the convoy members this morning. Nearly all of us was our First, or Second intermediate level drive... so wow, we all did a great job pushing through that terrain with a minimum of fuss! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 nearly 100km of fun covered in 8 hours! Looking forward to doing it again next year!

  6. 1) 2 suction cups is fine if you not using the stick.. but you want as much suction as possible when adding the stick and it moving up and down. go with the 3 cup or get a mount that attaches to car through other means (bolt on) 2) i only use the insta app and only make short videos of up to a minute or so. 3) it does overheat. Do not use HDR mode. that will make it over heat faster, a external battery will also stop it overheating. 4) yes i use selfie stick so that you can 'look back' at your vehicle and surroundings.
  7. @Misha Puskar you're first FB+ as well!! You picked an awesome introduction to this level. 💪💪 See you on the next one. Hope you get the shakes sorted soon!
  8. Exciting drive today. Thanks for the exploration guiding @Ale Vallecchi. We started heading east along a series of soft technical dunes, with a lot of broken ridges before turning westward and heading back one set of dunes to the south. We experienced a few moments of hesitation and rerouting as is expected in a recce with 14 cars. I marked lots of big dunes to the side that were clean of vegetation and worth exploring on a future trip.. we once again turns eastwards to explore the peripheries of this cordon before we stopped for a break. From here we had a quick adventure to the north before resuming course along side of the farm whilst looking for a suitable entrancein the dunes to get into from the sabhkas, and then threaded the needle between farms to the south. We headed eastwards into even softer sand, experiencing a free more refusals although most of these were quickly resolved. Some nice long ridge riding sections here before we decided to not exit, and take an extra 30 minutes of dune play heading towards the large solar installation. Definately lots of waypoints to investigate in the future in a area which was pretty clean overall. I sense a few more drives here in the future. @Mark B @Jessica Lambert thanks for finessing the lines and getting the refusals going again quickly. @Abhishek Chikara great work on your first FB+ drive! Hope to see you all in the sand again soon! Happy Saturday 💪

  10. Hi, Im selling my slightly used Baja Designs Squadron Sport Amber ditch lights as ive changed my lighting setup. These have been used for less than 15 hours of ON time. Including unused wiring harness with relay and toggle switch, Clear lens replacement kit (if you dont like amber colour) and baja designs light covers. buying all on amazon new will cost you around 1,600 dhs. You will need an offroad shop to mount and wire these in to your car if you are not confident.. but its a very small labour charge. You can have them for 850 or near offer. Please dm me on instagram or whatsapp. First in gets it. (yes these are pics from amazn except the last one, which is a pic of them back in their box on my office floor)
  11. Nice one! @Abhishek Chikara Looking forward to seeing you on a FB+ drive soon! Lots of fun ahead mate!
  12. Super fun drive today everyone! Great way to start the weekend 😍 Heaps of varied terrain, everything from small technical dunes to some big climbs and bowls! It was definately the most wind I've ever had in a drive but certainly made the waves of wind blown sand coming over the tops of the dunes look amazing. My car is absolutely full of sand 🤣🤣 We covered just over 30km. Thanks for guiding us @JeromeFJ. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
