  2. So long as it’s somewhere where the air can circulate it’s fine. I’ve found the brushless compressor to be “fussier” than the older one; but that’s the flip side to having higher performance.

  5. I'm going to stick mine in my ram box Thought about under the seat as it's cooler etc But I like the idea of the airflow although it's warm outside Plus if I have passengers it will be noisy And the ram box is nice. I currently use the rambox for fish and smelly stuff
  6. Hey @Thomas54675 - that’s a nice tidy way to install it! Looks like the compartment in the JK is fairly small, but propping the floor up is a nice easy fix!

  9. @ChrisW fantastic write up. Thank you sharing. I have fitted my compressor at the same location (jeep jk 2 door), small compartment in the trunck. The problem i got was overheating and I blow a fuse. Now I always use a small stick to keep it open, during the usage, so it has a better air circulation.

@Mark B great drive and definitely we must repeat it. Being off for some time it was perfect to get into the swing again. Even with some ESC engagement problems at the beginning (after major service last week LOL) the 4L practice needs a volume 2. Believe we can all agree. Looking forward to your plans in the coming weeks.

Join me this Saturday morning for a Fewbie Plus sunrise cruise, following a flowing route of around 60 km or so through the Sweihan desert, visiting a few bowls along the way. We’ll make an early start, catch the sunrise from the sand, and then settle into a good-paced morning drive across some beautiful rolling dunes. The focus is simple: smooth lines, flowing terrain, good company, and plenty of sand beneath the tyres. Thanks everyone, I really enjoyed today! It was quite a simple drive plan today, but we got our fill of climbs, bowls, loops, technical, ridges and switches. Special thanks to @J-P L and @Deepak Eswar for the support and @khurramm in 2nd lead. The big trucks of @Khalid Sharaf and @Jerome gave a good soundtrack to the drive especially while dominating Iftar Bowl. @Ana and @Shary drove briliantly especially during the deep bowl recovery. The route today We also completed the 3rd volume in the short sharp series completing the middle portion of the route.
