The weekend is almost here, and I'm getting excited for a Saturday night time session! We're in a deep waning crescent moon right now,.. with moonrise expected around 04:30.. which means it will be dark. DARK DARK. Please remember to bring a torch, and also a camp chair for coffee. We have a strong convoy.. so I think we can expect some sick maneuvers and attempts at fun lines ππ Looking forward to seeing you all! @MarkH @Alexanderrr @Sandeep N @Zsolt @Giacomo @khurramm -

Drive Summary We rolled out at 20:00 sharp and started the night on some of the smaller dunes, giving everyone a chance to settle in and get comfortable with sidies and switches in the dark. The FB drivers were looking strong, so before long we picked up the pace and pushed into the larger rollercoaster dunes. Thatβs where things really came alive. The cars were roaring, the lines got bigger, and it was definitely starting to feel a little more FB+ than FB. Switches. Big sidies. Plenty of speed. And a lot of fun. From there, we started working east toward the ridge-riding section of Khatim, where we enjoyed some longer ridge lines before stopping for a quick break. @ChrisW also gave us a demo of his new light controllers β very cool stuff! Then it was eastwards again, this time through some smaller, flowing rollercoaster terrain before we finally reached the BIG BIG stuff in Fayah. Big dunes. Big speed. Big Gs. We dropped down past the anomaly, where the convoy finally suffered its first proper stuck of the night. After a quick recovery, we decided it was as good a place as any to stop for coffee. Thirty minutes of coffee, chatting and cooling down later, we packed up and hit the road home. A really fun night with a convoy that handled everything thrown at it. Sidies, switches, ridges, speed and coffee. See you all on the next drive! @Mahmut @jamil abdollah @Lukas Wii @Piotr. @Sebastian Nohse @Giacomo @ChrisW - Last week

untilLeading in the desert is one of the most rewarding off-road experiences β blending raw adventure, strategic decision-making, and real-time teamwork in a dynamic and unforgiving environment. In the Leaders Lead β Third & Final Session, youβll put everything you've learned into action. After mastering convoy management and GPS navigation, this final challenge pushes you to apply your leadership skills in one of the most technical and demanding desert terrains in the UAE. This advanced session is designed to test your capabilities across three critical areas: Mastering Technical Dunes: You'll be leading through intense, no-go-level terrain, where every crest, bowl, and drop demands precise control, route planning, and advanced sand reading skills. This module focuses on driving judgment and maintaining convoy rhythm through the harshest dune structures. Adaptive Leadership Based on Convoy Performance: Learn how to dynamically adjust the drive level in real-time β scaling up when the team is confident and scaling down to ensure safety when needed. This teaches you to interpret convoy synergy, driving skills, and situational readiness without compromising the driveβs flow. Managing Complex Recoveries: You'll face high-risk recovery simulations that test your ability to assess, lead, and execute under pressure. From stuck vehicles in side slopes to near rollovers, you'll learn how to orchestrate safe and efficient solutions using the right tools, communication, and leadership composure. Drive Details Level: Selective Advisors - @J-P L and @Frans M When: 9 October 2026, Friday - Third Session Meeting time: 3.00 PM, (Sharp, without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ogE8dYKyQssyggrh7 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. Approximate finish time: 6.30 PM
