Are there any scrap yards here?

I have come from south africa which is a very good place for cars and here i do see good potential too but i havent seen a single scrap yard do they have any here?

ive heard in Ras Al Khaima but not too sure and even in Sharjah. its best to go there physically and ask the mechanics what the mechanics do is get as good as new parts from scarp to make some money,

Not much in Dubai, drive down to Sharjah, there is few scrap shops that will cater your requirement. The authorities have clamped down on used tyre shops, bt spares i think there are few, be ready to sharpen you negotiation skills..

There are plenty of scrap yards in sharjah, near used car market abu shagara, then few in industrial area. Its just that you need to walk a lot and keep checking as none of them offer any answer on phone. Better source some mechanic who can do the running and bargaining job for you and you can tip him. I tried this trechnique last time few months back and worked like a charm.
