  • Gaurav changed the title to Morning Newbie Desert Drive - Al Fayah - Abu Dhabi - 15 Apr 2023

Hi all I am Tatsiana, this will be my first drive in the desert driving my husbands shiny red Jeep Rubicon. My experience so far in the desert is as a passenger with my husband so now I am looking forward to getting behind the wheel and trying this hobby for myself.

Our car has all of the necessary off road gear and tow points.

looking forward to meeting you all in the sand on Saturday.

Hi there!

I'm back on the waiting list and eager to join a drive this time. Last week, I tried but missed out. Fingers crossed for an opportunity soon! It'll be my first club drive, and I'll be in my yellow FJ. 😊

Welcome to the Club @Wile E ! I see you are currently on WL and in the order WL 3, so the 2 other WL attendees before you gets priority, unless its their 2nd drive, in that case the folks with their only drive for the weekend gets priority ..

So you can hope for atleast 3 people dropping or convoy number getting extended :)

I remember my younger days with the club and even today - ( On a lighter note - you will soon realise the importance of 18.59 anxiety on Mondays :D followed by the desperate attempt to be among the 10-12 fastest fingers first , ensuring a confirmed spot :D , all happening in fraction of seconds :D ) .  - Looking forward to seeing you soon in one of the drives !

Is Carnity considering adding more rides?

It's a bit difficult every week to compete for the available places while we have a membership that should allow us to drive more often.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi @Cristian during Ramadan there are on average always less drives being booked, as this is a holy month where many members and trip leads are spending more time with the family. I am sure you understand this.
