y62 offroad bumper install had to remove the front crash bar is there an alternative

The front crash bar had to be removed to install the offroad bumper because the bumper doesnt fit with the crash bar on is there a solution to this? is it safe to drive without a crash bar?

In some vehicles this acts as a simple reinforcement of the bumper itself, while in others it is a necessary component that would take the hit in case of a frontal impact and would reduce potential damages to the engine and surrounding components. Could you perhaps share some photos ?

On mine it was also, but I think it's because the whole bumper was like very cheap piece of plastic,  so once you install metal bumber the hit will go through bumper and should be absorbed by the frame of vehicle.. at least this is how I think and understand about  this
