potential problems surfacing

hi guys, I have a very urgent concern ... my ford focus 12 just hit 160,000km and it has started to show a number of problems altogether. I did not expect that from a car like the ford focus, I always thought that the problems would slowly emerge and i will have them fixed as and when required. To begin with the car has started to squeal and overheat. Are there any maintenance suggestions I am missing out on? Thanks

OVERHEATING COULD BE SOMETHING SERIOUS, IS YOUR COOLANT LEVEL OK? MAKE SURE THERE IS COOLANT (NOT WATER).

FORD FOCUS IS A GREAT CAR, JUST NEEDS SOME ATTENTION ON TIME. PREVENTING PROBLEMS IS IMPORTANT RATHER THAN DEALING WITH THEM.
