wrangler engine froze

my wrangler's engine froze due to low engine oil, i unfreezed it but its not the same. it knocks badly and is in very bad condition.

is it advisable to rebuilt it and install the same or do i get a new one and get rid of this.

You know both route and its upto you to choose.

Both routes cost almost same if you rebuild or get used one. I choose to rebuild so to be 100% sure that i have almost new like engine after spending 4k-5k.
