check gauge light problem

my 2001JGC is getting a check gauge light come on so i changed the oil pressure sensor and still the light stay on

i got all the oils changed and now i dont know what to do.

Please dont do drive with Engine oil light on

Your engine oil pump has failed and many components inside engine is running dry. May be the damage is already done or it will happen soon after you fix new pump. If you hear clanking noise from engine then that means crank main bearing or crank connecting rod bearing is fried due to heat as oil lubrication was missing.

It will be very unlikely if bearng are still fine. Only if as soon as you seen this engine oil light and stopped the vehicle.
