Why is my Jeep having high RPM on low speed?

Why is my Jeep 2000 having unusual high RPM when driving at the speed 40 the RPM goes up to 3500.

please someone tell me what is wrong with my car.

The abnormally high idle speeds can be the vacuum leaks or an inoperative idle speed control motor.

A vacuum leak on a fuel injected engine will cause high idle.
