oil leak

i have just bought a second hand 2006 BMW with 52,000 km on it.

just a few weeks later I had noticed oil spots and after awhile the oil level low warning light had started. I put 1/4 of Mobile 1 synthetic oil in it as the manual had instructed and then the gauge went to normal. will this happen again. please advice

Oil is very cheap in this country so keep topping, until you find time and money to fix it. If its very minor leak having light will come after 3-6months, don't bother.

If it comes in week or two time then get it fixed. Its serious.

hi bali as u suggested i did get a top up but reduced rapidly in a week which is a major one so got it repaired at munich motor works and did an excellent job

Munich are uneducated bunch of chauvinist ppl, many times doing lengthy not required job to make money.
