How is the damaged bumper fixed ?

I have hit my car on reverse so the lower left side part of the bumper has gone in. my question is that will the entire bumper will be removed and repaired or will they just repair the dent only without removing the bumper?

It really depends on the damage but if not major it can be repaired without removing the bumper.
