engine undervover

Just another query, my engine under cover dont know if this is what they call engine splash cover was broken , just wanna ask if its ok to run car with under cover open ? particular in highway driving just brought to dealer they say that the spareparts are not available at the moment.

You can drive safely as far as you are not hitting any rough road where loose gravel or stone can hit the under body. On highway or normal roads no problems. Secondly if cover is partially broken and hanging, then better remove it completely or else it might fall while driving and cause hazard to other driver behind you and scare them and you wont even notice that.
