i was considering getting my hood redone where my engine can get my air when i am driving

i am not sure what is it called but basically cutting off thin slices of the hood and creating gaps for the air to reach the engine

i would like to know if there are any drawbacks to this

Its known as Hood Louvers. Make sure that you dont get too wide open so that rain water can get in plenty. Minor amount is fine.

You can get that done in any half way decent denter, painter and fabrication shop in al quoz, rashidiya or in shj (slighlty cheaper)
