What is the reason for compressor keeps dieing off?

Why is the compressor keeps dieing off. this is the 2nd time that i have changed it?

you talking about AC compressor? it will fail every couple of years on average, if its failing more than that you have a problem poss with electics, also if you want it to last longer always turn it off before you switch off the engine and turn it on after a few seconds of re starting the engine, in short never start the engine with the AC switched on.
