Reset check engine light

How can i reset check engine light.

Any bright ideas ?

hi

the engine light - you mean - the amper light looks line an engine ( i hope )

its known as MIL - malfunction indicator light - it means there may be some permenant or temperory fault codes stored on

the ECU ( eloctronic control unit ) - so you need a OBD II scanner to scan and find the stored fault first - then try to reset

it may or may not go off ( depend up on the fault )

Thanks Anoop, for the valuable info shared. From where i can buy this OBD II Scanner or do i visit any shop who has it (if its expensive for me to buy for one time use).

most of the garages got that ,

or contact AAA 04-3470400 they charge 150.00 for scaning
