rubber of roof glass is worn out

the rubber covering the edge of the glass of the roof has worn off and there is a hissing noise. my options are to replace the entire rubber strip which the workshop is saying will take a weeks time is there another alternative which i can use temporarily to repair it?

thats te only option bro, you got to waot for a while, or use rubber silicone sealant by yourself in meantime (if it helps)
