most likely what ur hearing is the thrust bearing. if it is the case, ur gonna need a new clutch kit. i had the same issue on mine and ended up replacing the clutch kit for the dealer. although the clutch plates were still fine, the bearing cannot be purchased separately.

since urs is manual i assume u have an RC.
