Recommended Posts

when getting my breaks changed of my 2008 Boxter they have changed the sensors as well without informing me and now i am concern if they did this just to earn some more cash from me as i dont think they were required to change coz i changed the breaks before i received any warning signals they why change the sensor???

They must have changed as a standard "best practice" to change brake pad with sensor's whether it was required or not.

You as a owner should have also told them not changed sensor as it wasn't scratched and rubbed again disc and its perfectly fine for next use. And plus they should have also seen while replacing it and use their common sense of not changing it or at least asking you if you need it or not.
