seats wont go in the front

i have a 2 door golf and i need to get the seats in the front when i have passenger who need to sit back

but now getting the seats in the front has become a hassle because moving them has become harder. there is nothing below that is jamming the seat. what is it then

it is a 2006 golf and not too old as well

use genrous amount of WD40 on seat rail under the seat and move it few times front and back. it shud free up the seat on rail and move smoothly.
