cadiguy Posted April 16, 2011 Share Posted April 16, 2011 Remove the right tire. Remove the belt. Remove the front compressor bolts. Remove the rear compressor bracket from the engine block, but leave it attached to the compressor. Remove the oil filter. Remove the electrical connector and pull the compressor forward an inch or two to give room (maybe get a helper to hold it forward, careful not to damage the hoses). Get that manifold nut off with a 3/8" drive socket, or maybe just an open end wrench. It definitely required shallow turns, until it was loose enough to turn by hand.
