Hi Amitaj Mercedes is a benchmark in automotive industry and no one can deny it! I agree with you that other brands that you mentioned is offering a better driving experience than the Mercedes while Mercedes remains the best ride experience for passengers and the most reliable I ever had among all of them. so think about it like a wife option: 1- An age developed lady doesn't spent much money with a decent look (Mercedes) 2- An age developed lady that need to visit doctors clinics monthly with prestigious look (Jaguar) 3- A younger beautiful wife that brakes her hi-hills with her youth actions (BMW) 4- An average beautiful wife that didn't finish her education (Lexus) 5- An athletic wife that need to visit her doctors and have her vitamins on time (Porsche) So you have to make your choice which one you can live with! by the way you may have several options (ore than one wife allowed)!

I agree with many others here, Nissan Xtera maikes a very good choice and I like it's devilish front look. Don't take me wrong and If I am in your place I will get my wife LR2, as if her heart is set on it then why get Nissan and spoil her 90% usage for your 10% desert preference. May be you can take LR2 and do sober desert drive than full bashing style and still bridge the gap. I am not emotional and lovey dovey here but I am speaking logic as per the likes and not likes.

As per theory, no oil should get burn't in engine if it is not turbo. In turbo due to high pressure it get's consumed. Oil level should stay same or reduce very very marginal in service internal, if major reduction in oil level then it's a leak in the engine or down the sump area (engine oil area).

Emirates Kart Zone runs from 3 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and on weekend till 12. Cost 100 dirham for 15 mins. Dubai Autodrome (Kartdrome) 9 AM to 11 PM, cost 100 dhs for 15 min for indoor and 120 dhs for outdoor. It sound expensive, but when you do it once you realize it's worth the money and how much you can have in 15 minutes of adrenal rush. I did once, and I might join here depending on the time we choose. Im 50% game.
