A nice mixed convoy with members who were eager to explore the nice rolling and long range dunes of Nahel. With only minor refusals/stucks, and a quick pop-out fix by Ahmad, and with help of @DP1011his nice breakfast, we were quickly back in the sand and continued our journey with the plan to go and say hello to our Old Lady Dune. We reached there around 10AM and did a quick run up and descent, and i decided not to keep pushing it but to make our way to the exit as the temperatures were on the rise. Radiator changed, actually a very simple job, hardest point was removing and reinstalling the bash plate. Surprised it only dropped about 100mm out of the transmission cooler part, topped up the same amount so hopefully it’s good to go (transmission fluid is pretty old so that will be the next job) will test it out tomorrow on @Loopersrive 😳

One amazing drive to start the weekend in a wonderful vibe!!! 🤩

Congrats @Sreenath G. Enjoy your new ride, get used to clutch at low-level drives and start learning with "zero half-clutch" principle to learn fast without worrying about getting stalled. Every manual car stalls in the desert, so no big deal if yours stalls frequently during the learning phase.

Thank you all for your advices and reassurances. Today in the drive I deflated to 10psi no pop out and it all went well..🤪 let's put it again to test tomorrow and see how it goes.

Hi Asif, I will have to postpone my first drive. I will join next weekend. Currently suffering a case of influenza. I have a stock standard 2016 3.8L SWB Pajero, low Kms/not abused yet Plans for modifications, but none carried out as yet.

CONVOY 1 - FRED - SILVER PATROL - CH2 446.031 MHZ @Jona@FERNANDO SYRIO@Mohit Gurnani@Ahmad Nerat@Jaro Tuzinsky@Beide Worku@Salim Akhtar@Mus_hus78@Zed CONVOY 2 - LOOPER - YELLOW JEEP WRANGLER - CH4 446.081 MHZ @Bjoern@Cristian@Andrei S@Naveen Raj@Ignacio Quindós@Gary F@DP1011 MEETING POINT: You can park the cars along the entry gate barrier all the way up to the red pin. Beyond the red pin is also possible but the sand is a bit soft there, so be careful. Please make sure to bring your off-road gears, plenty of water, and protection from the sun. Ensure the car is fully topped up with gas (gas stations were mentioned in the post yesterday). We aim to be READY-TO-GO by 06AM, so please arrive no later than 05.50AM so you have time to deflate and put the flags. See you all bright and early tomorrow !

@LooperLisaili sand was wet today and it seems cloud-seeding rain is going to be more frequent, so you may not need so many ropes.
