I think this is the best option, which can be mounted even on roof railing of roofrack(if have), or maybe clamp is small..

Don’t buy the case. It’s mostly useless. I had X3 case and wasn’t happy with it l. I bought one on Amazon and it was a lot better. For X4 I wasn’t as happy as I was for X3 but still much cheaper and useful than the insta360 option.1 point

Hi, yes you will need a mount to hold the pole. Recommend avoiding the suction cup ones, even the 3 way suction cups will come loose over rough terrain... https://www.instagram.com/p/C78q-sTSbii/ There is a couple of metal options from AOR, and on amazon too.1 point
