  2. Congratulations on your first lead @Andrew John Melvill and the support from @DP1011 & @J-P L. Overall it was a nice morning out, smooth looping dunes, ridge riding and some technical areas. Nice to see a few stucks/refusals on top of the dunes, great learning for everyone. Thank you to everyone who helped with the shoveling, very much appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing you grow further and helping others to learn the art of offroading in a safe environment. Please make sure your Carnity user profile is always updated with all the latest Emergency contact details. SUPPORT TEAM Pre-requisite 1) Minimum 10 any level "Carnity" drives are required after your Intermediate promotion to become eligible for the Support Team. Once you decide to join Team Carnity to excel further with your off-roading, people, and commanding skills, you will be extensively trained by the whole Team Carnity from Expert - Marshal - Crew at various stages by supporting different levels drives. Activities for Support Team Members Support different Marshals and Crew at Newbie level drives to demonstrate: Your ability and willingness to support new offroaders. Ability to gain control of commanding situations. And clear communication skills to help manage the convoy. Possible progress toward becoming an Advisor Once you have proved to be a regular Supporting Team member and have supported different trip leads on several Newbie and Fewbie drives, we will gather your periodic feedback. Based on this feedback and reviews you might receive an invitation to become a Carnity Advisor for further advancement within our community. You will also need to have completed a minimum of 5 Intermediate Level drives, and be a regular club member (minimum supporting 6 Newbie or Fewbie drives per quarter) to become eligible. Being invited to an Advisor role means we put our faith in you as a passionate club member who displays maturity and passion to carry your knowledge on to new off-roaders who are still progressing through the ranks.

Join us for a Sunday morning jaunt across one of the last remaining clean sand areas of Qudra, flowing sand made for finding your rhythm and building confidence behind the wheel. The dunes run in long parallel line giving us the chance to test ridge riding skills and easy switching. It's a relaxed, scenic Fewbie-friendly drive, aiming to be aired-up and home before the heat bites. Bring water, bring your flag, bring a sense of adventure. The dunes are waiting. RSVP now and let's ride! MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities DRIVE DETAILS Level: Fewbie and above When : 28 June 2026 Meeting time: 06:30 AM Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uNbCe9YrG5DTUkQB9 Action Plan: Please aim to be at the meeting point, deflated and ready to go for 6am. This drive will be partially led by @Andrew John Melvill, who will give the briefing and lead us off to get started. Convoy order will be posted on Friday afternoon. Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water, snacks (for yourself), smiles,, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Mandatory off-road gears: Fewbie and above, Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, Intermediate and above, Kinetic Tow Rope and 2 soft Shackles. Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear. Approximate finish time: 09:30 AM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 12:00 pm. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist. Once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others.   14. Thanks to all for joining me on my 1st partial lead, it meant a lot to me! With special thanks to @DP1011, @J-P L and @Glenn W for the mentorship.and support. Totally appreciated. The day started with all on time for 06h30 briefing. Then a sand track leading into the dunes. Was a nice mix of ridges, loops through the long range dunes and technical zones. Few stops to keep the cars cool. The few refusals and stucks on the ridges gave some good learning opportunities to the fewbies on the drive. Everyone drove really well. Thanks again

Good day Frederic and Carnity Team, Vehicle: Blue Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2025 Experience: 20+ years offroading, emergency response and advanced driver certifications, formal 4x4 courses completed, light and heavy (truck) vehicle offroading mostly in mountain/bush/coast performed as part of fire, rescue, and emergency operations. Tow hook: Both front and rear, chackles (hard & soft) with kinetic rope and winch straps. Radio & Flag: Have both and pre-programmed to Carnity frequencies. Holding formal TDRA Amateur Radio Operator license. Video: Watched. My wife and I are glad to be joining some social offroad drives.
