You need to have the crankshaft position sensor replaced. its the electronic device present in the internal combustion engine which monitors the rotational speed of the crankshaft. you might not have the same car but here is how you can do it:

I meant in terms of performance ... obviously performance is the first thing that comes to a guy's mind when you think about an SUV/Sedan. The vehicle really appeals to me ... just wondering if there are better out there.

You didnt mention whether you are looking for a sedan, a coupe or an suv. Having said that ... the Escalade Platinum is probably the safest bet. It is the world’s first full-size luxury hybrid SUV, not to mention its my dream to own one.
