  1. Yes brothers... this is very rare and ulmost 0.1% probability in a Honda...

another thing to notify is that my car is already 280K when the valve spring broke second time...so the first one broke at just 210K.

Changing my whole new head, gave me more 200K...

I wouldnt ever sell this car..love it a lot and spent alot on it..

    cheers!!!

  2. I would like to share this experience with you guys,

actually last July, one of my valve springs broke , i dunno how and my engine wudnt let my car run...

i replced it with the new valve and spring, but to my shock another valve and spring broke this time...

now i have replced my whole engine head weith new valve and springs, my mechanic says that this happens in 1 out of 100 cars.(P.S : unfortunately that 1 car was mine)

dunno how it happened, if any ideas do let me know.

    rgds

hi prabhat..just take my note carefully, do onething get a good honda mechanic from the list provided in here and visit the mechanic and tell him that you have the steering pump leakage. Ask him to buy a steering pump repair kit and fixing the steering pump. the kit maybe around 500 aed. Also tel him to replace and put a new hydraulic high pressure steering pump pipe. Dont drive mch with thisproblem else you may damage or completely destroy the pump.

if this doesnt do well, then let me know..i will give you another alternative.

  4. well the best video for this is on youtube by scotty kilmer or you could go for www.youtube.com/user/scottykilmer and scroll through the videos that are related to car hesitating and that sort and yes i am recommending the cleaning MAF sensors and the valve,

i am very much confident that it is only the MAF system that is not working properly

am aware about cleaning MAF sensors, but am not specifically for honda accord..thats why i need your help in cleaning the MAF and also to chk whether my O2 sensor is working or not ??

  5. Hi bro

i suggest you have your cars mass airflow sensor and air valve checked. these 2 things are very much the culprits in our sweet hondas, due to our cars being completely computerized these 2 things are basically operated with that computer onboard the car, now the rpm dancing is no doubt due to your cars air valve being either loose from the inside or worn off but mostly its because of the air valve getting loose from the inside all you need to do is open the 2 bolts on the air valve and disconnect the wires attached to it via a detachable clip, open it and use a nice cleaner for it like WD40 or a air mass cleaner and then open your air mass sensor or lets say oxygen sensor which is near to it and clean that thing also and i bet your car will start working just fine

but make sure before fixing these 2 thing back after cleaning they should be dry like bone dry

Once again..m really grateful to u hishambro, thanks alot for your advice...tomorrow itself i will do as u said..and i really am confident that my cr will be working fine..

    thanks a lot....

  6. well brothers, as for the first question car vibrating when at a signal , is it when you press the brakes or when you start moving or when you are driving normally at a specific speed, please indicate your vibrating or tell me the whole situation, i.e the time when you experience this vibration and the way your car vibrates ( cause there can be different types of vibration ),

now the second question which is from Mr grey, wheel balancing can go out of order due to various things, hit a speed bump real hard, hard enough to damage your wheels, try to park on a pavement a foot path, drive a bit fast on a bad terrain like off road, drive on those reflective markers on the side of the road not the small ones im talking about the big ones that make your car steering wobble, drive your car on broken road carelessly like in sharjah or any remote area and etc etc their are many many reasons or actions that can damage your wheels. now even if you drive very very carefully balancing going out of order is very much possible with out any of the above mentioned issues, how? let me show you.

look at your wheels carefully if its a steel rim you have to remove your wheel cover if its an alloy rim you dont need to remove any thing only in case of a really expensive rim you need to look it up from the back side i mean the inner side, you will find a small piece of metal stuck on the edge of that rim it will be rectangle, a small piece of metal, that is the thing which is balancing your wheel's weight, some time they fall off because they are not stuck permanently they are just latched to the edge of the rim so when they get old or you rub wheels with a pavement while parking your car, they get ripped off, that way your cars wheel loses weight balance and that specific wheel starts vibrating which make your steering wheel and your car vibrate like hell.

@hisham : for me the car vibrates on the signal when the gear is in D and i have pressed brake hardly...this wasnt happening before, but jst before a month i got my valves and spark pplug changed and also had new piston springs fitted...i think maybe its due to that...as after these changes my rpm has varied a lot when in 1st gear...and so when i press the brake pedal at signal, the rpm at tht time vries continuously and so maybe vibration is there...

  7. check your wheel balancing bro, one or two of your wheels are bent or just out of weight balance its just gonna cost around 100 dhs from a good garage, word of advise go for a full balancing and this problem will dissapear

yes hisham bro is actually right..check your wheel balnaces, they r the main culprit for the vibrations between 60 to 80 kmph....

@hisham bro : i have a problem of my car vibrtating when i am at a signal..can you help me out with it ??

  8. What a great thread and what a great willingness to help.

Three cheers for hisham_khan. Real gentlemen having patience to help and guide so much for so long, wish we have many members like him.

GREAT JOB HISHAM. Keep it up.

Yess this very true...hisham_khan has helped me alot and i really appreciate his advice and his concern to help me out...as well this forum is also an excellent platform for strangers to become known to each oder with some connection i.e to have the same car.....and i am thnkful to hisham_khan as well as to this forum for the help....

    keep going..

  9. id say the best option for you is go to sharjah and you will find nice original Japanese rims in immaculate condition for a very cheap price you can even find European or american rims for the same price and same condition go and ask for the area where they are chopping up all the right hand vehicles and you will find nice rims plus a nice pair of good original suspension system for your car and im sure you will love it over there as you can find a lot of unique and nice parts for your car over there go to JNP round about in sharjah and find the yard named ajban autos they deal in honda parts only. from jnp round about that is basically a signal now, from signal drive towards industrial area when you reach the first signal take a u turn and take first right and on your left hand side between the first 3 -5 shops you will find a hidden shop saying ajban or ajman auto parts thats the place you should be looking for.

thanks alot bro....vl visit there very soon...

  10. @hisham : thanks bro..it took almost a year to find out the problem.. :P my rims are original and i thot of changing that particular alloy, are u sure cn get original single alloy ? i need to find it, becoz am unaware of any alloy mechanic who could repair this for me, and i am not willing to randomly go to any alloy mechanic and repair it, so u need to suggest me whre can i get it done, and actually i stay in RAK, its vry hard to find a nyc alloy mechanic except if i go and search in Dibba, maybe there are a lot of good guys working out on alloys....and you are absolutely right my front right suspension got damaged as my driving is about 8000kms per month and this alloy has cost me for that suspension..

  11. You are most welcome brother

by the way please do check the parts of that wheel side when you remove the alloy, it is possible that one of the parts i.e the brakes, may it be the pads or the discs, any of these parts could be loose so when you remove the alloy just tighten up all the bolts and nuts which you see and specially check the bolts on the disc that are holding the discs from the back side ( inner side), and if your pads are old and worn off, they can produce a bubbling sound.

thanks once again for the important advice,

Bt i dont think there may be any problem with the brakes as well as the cv joints , becoz i already replaced these parts 1 month ago, so i came to a conclusion that may be there is some mismatch with that specific alloy and am waiting for the weekend to come so that can take a look at this problem, also these noise has become loud enough after i rotated my tires, and this led me to the conclusion that there maybe some problem with the alloy...

  12. is it just a sound of bubbling or is it your car that's wobbling, if the car is wobbling then get your wheel balancing checked, it is possible that the Tyre dealer is not much experienced about wheel balancing ( no offense ). cars start wobbling after reaching speeds of 60 - 80 and above if even one of your front wheel is out of balance or slightly bent, and if its just a sound of bubbling then check your rubber bushes intalled between the suspension system which is done much efficiently by the help of a mechanic, its not costly at all, bushes cost very less like 10 - 15 dhs each and installation should not be more than 100 dhs for both side at the front.

thank you very much hisham, i was just looking for a perfect guidanc, i have checkd the balancing , its perfect...now wat i need to look is the rubber bushing u sayin...also i feel that the bubbling is from one of the specific alloy...so m goin to have temperorary alloy change and check if its stl there or not....

    thanks...

  13. heyy hi guys..

i have a 2007 accord, i dont knw why bt from few days i m hearing some bubling sound of my car at speeds after 60kmph....although my tyres were new jst replaced before a month i went n checked through the tyre dealer..n he said evrything ok with the tyres...now i am thinking to change the ball joints n shock absorpers..is there anything else responsible for this noise ?? or m i doin right thing by changing these specified parts ???

    thankx for the help..
