I know very little about car specifications and their importance in the CR-V. how is it in the market for 2014 as compared to the last few years? I basically wanted to know more about the Honda CR-V and if it’s a good fit for my family. I tried to read about it online but there are too many jargons. I need some kind of “Honda CR-V for dummies”

Not exactly my friend, the UV light from the sun can cause this haziness/yellowish color to the lens. When I take it in for servicing they usually apply something on request and clear it out, its not perfect but then its an improvement and i have never felt the need to replace them. How about you ask for it next time you take it for servicing.

Thanks for being honest with me ... I completely understand your point of view and also great job on giving such a long description. I know where the MAF sensor is located but just didn't know its functionality in details and how cleaning it was important from time to time. Any other sensors that should be given such an importance? I cant believe that i have been driving cars for such a long time and never had any interest about improving their running.

Googled it today and found out that it is a messages relaying system for the engine computer about how much air is entering the engine. Phew ... who else can tell me more about it in not-so-technical terms ?

I know i should leave it to them .. just curious about what it is, what it does and why do you have to clean it separately. And supposedly it improves the car efficiency?

I think my car Accord 99 is losing the efficiency it once used to have. Someone at work directed me to check and clean the MAF sensor. What is that and how do you clean it?

Hi guys, this is pretty straightforward.

I want to install a new clutch in my prelude 98 and I don't know how to go about it. I have done some major things on my own before with my car so was thinking that if the process is simple can someone give me a step by step to help install the new clutch. All efforts are highly appreciated.

i sold my honda accord 08 a few years ago and bought a mazda instead. Although I love mazda as a car ... I have since missed my accord and the way it used to feel while I drove it. Now I am determined that I am going to grab the 2013 accord this year! i was glad to read good reviews about it especially where it said that honda has worked hard towards making up for the previous shortcomings so I cant wait to see whats in store for me. Anyone has the same views as mine?

Umm ... It could be

a) a problem with the main switch in the driver door or

a problem with the relays. Check both. Let us know if you find anything out of the ordinary.

Are Honda CRV's good offroad cars? i mean can i take this car in the desert for a drive? is it that capable

if you dont have black points or fines at all they give a huge discounted rate.

i suggest dont disable the warning. It can save your life.
