We have a Nissan Tiida and a Nissan Murano and we need to change our batteries every year. We've tried a wide variety of well known brands but the results are the same. 1 year and they go kaput.

Thanks! I asked them to check for the sound and they deduced it's due to the tyres. I'm not convinced as they're All-Terrain BF Goodrich tyres but are of DOT 2008. I'm waiting for the full estimate though and will post it here. It's a 2005 SE, with a lift-kit, US import (imported in 2005 to the UAE with 7 miles on the clock!). Clean title, but it's spent its whole life in the UAE which isn't a good thing and the previous owner only serviced it at ENOC!

@BlackArmada, I've just purchased a Titan but it already has a bunch of issues I'm hoping the Nissan Service Centre can resolve. However, I get a grinding sound while driving which many say could be due to the hubs or bearings, a known issue in Armada and Titans. Any ideas?

I own a 1995 Mazda Miata/MX-5 and the jokers at Galadari refused to even touch it because it's US-spec. Our family has a few Nissans and Infinitis and at least Arabian Auto services US spec cars but doesn't provide warranty if they're US-spec. I'm interested in finding a good garage too that does reliable work without saying BS like 'mushkil nahin' for anything they can't fix.

That depends on what you need. There are a bunch of online vendors that cater specifically to the Miata fortunately.

It would help if you could tell us the year/model of your Miata. I had this problem and it was fixed by adjusting the idle valve, which is fairly easy. I get the CEL once in a while though.
