Raise car couple of times and see if both times car raises and lower pretty fast and with same pace in both instances that mean EAS is in good health, if car lift the nose up and wait for tail to rise slowly or vice-versa just walk away.

Try engaging in LO gear and drive at very slow speed on road side to see if any error message appear as that year second most problem is in transmission and when you toggle between HI-LO that error might flash on screen with three beeps alarm.

Genuinely speaking apart from all above issues, if you get genuine full service history from Al Tayer then go for it as its a marvelous car and amazing beauty on road. Good luck.

You can actually check the one that comes in Range Rover from 2003 onward model. Check with spare part guys or scrap guys if they have one spare and if it can be direct fit in LR3. I really doubt if ever you gonna get custom made here.

At 130 will not run smooth, at 80-100 its fine anything above 100 it will rev high and drink more fuel. Thats TD5, and i hope these new have same TD5 engine still. Reliability when new is very nice, maint is bit expensive than other japanese cars but its manageable.

Call Al beaa and speak to Varghese 050 6974930 and check if they have one or if they arrange for you. negotiate with them is whatever price he say add 100, say i can get new one in that. Then he will slesh to half of new (dummy) price. Done this twice works both time.

Rocker cover gasket provides a oil-tight seal between the rocker cover and the cylinder head. And Valley gasket and plenum rubber is the intake plenum gasket. These two are different stuff, but for sure you are paying quite as much for these jobs. Worth taking second opinion from good LR shops like A2B garage in Al quoz area or Al Beaa in sharjah industrial area.

God save LR now, hope it gets under top quality production in India. As few years back i have seen some Honda and BMW vehicles getting produced in Indian factories but with same standard of quality as Japanese and German mother company. But in a way it might help in raising quality in same pricing by using cost effective labor, as many car manufacturer cutting corners due to high labor cost.

Only thing i can think of difference is RR is made of aluminum and not iron like other cars. May be cos of this metal difference it gets debond earlier. Get the radiator (clutch fan) checked first, then doubt the radiator it might need little cleaning or better change it if its older than 5 years.

In average stop and go traffic within city it seems normal (Just a lil bad). For full highway stretch you should be getting around 16 - 20???

If i am not wrong that green paper validity is for 6 months, but again if that person sell the car and cancel his insurance in six month then insurance can do some drama in settling that claim. Though they are obliged to it anyways.

Check the drive shaft first and get it cleaned and greased nicely and see if it helps.

Second check / change the Universal Joint (Commonly known as U Joint or Cross) for drive shaft.

If not then make a visit to good mechanic who knows Landies like AAA or Gulf Star and they will diagnose it properly.
