  2. Hi @Chantelle Williams Allen and @Muhammed Saeed welcome to carnity off-road club. Can you please confirm: Your vehicle has front and rear tow points? Which vehicle are you bringing for tomo drive? Do you have any previous off-road experience?
  3. Hi @Salim Akhtar and @Muhammed Saeed welcome to carnity off-road club. Can you please confirm: Your vehicle has front and rear tow points? Which vehicle are you bringing for tomo drive? Do you have any previous off-road experience?
  4. Better ground clearance do help but fall off the ridges seems like a line control issue tbh. Choosing and sticking to correct lines make ALL THE DIFF. Enjoy your new lift and take your time to get used to the new center of gravity. Very imp.
  5. Looks like an off-road version Xterra. If it is, then selling it by highlighting an off-road spec will help fetch better value.
  6. Indeed you did and indeed you did the right thing. Such drives will actually identify: Real offroaders than dune bashing oops cars bashing boys and girls. Drivers who want to test their skills than just pushing peddle. How much more we need to learn to respect the desert. Real definition of precision, patience and teamwork. How to control temptations and assumptions. Well done @Wrangeld for time and time setting these technical drives to value the essence of technical driving. Well done @Islam Soliman for opening a dedicated drive theme for serious offroaders to such a challenging drive.
  7. Yes @Enrico Biscaro and @Gerrit Bus we need to have PCR or DPI test result in al hosn app (as per AD border guideline) to reach Sweihan in Abu Dhabi.
  8. I know LTX force is here now, what I meant is from 2010 - 2020 (almost) Michelin stopped LTX after LTX2. Recently they have brought this LTX force again in UAE market. I have had LTX from 2007-2008 on my daily driven LC and love them on road. Then bought again LTX2 for SWB patrol from 2008-2009.
  9. Totally agree with @Christopher Assal, I didn't mention them as they were not in the initial list. I have tried LTX for 2+ year and was totally happy. I stopped mentioning LTX as they have been discontinued for over 10 years and forcefully replaced with Primacy, which is good but an HT tire with least possibility of self-recovery in sand. Recently Michelin bought LTX force back again, and knowing Michelin and LTX (past experience) I was sure it will be worth every penny (as they are quite expensive than Geo).
  10. Here are my vote and feedback based on usage Arroyo - TamaRock AT - (Never heard or tried, yet). Yokohama - Geolandar AT G015 - (One of the best off-road tire I've found). BF Goodrich - All Terrain T/O KO2 - (Too heavy and noisy, good for rock, not ideal for sand due to weight). Cooper - Discoverer AT3 4S - (Tried Discoverer AT (not AT3) - not bad but lost tread chunk after a year and in wadis.
