maybe its coolant mixing into engine oil.
See the quality of the Oil.

The crankshaft position sensor may have failed, the wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken

Lexus Motor Oil 05 W40 is what the Lexus Manufacturers are recommending. this is available at all Lexus Dealers.

Sounds like unburnt fuel is escaping. Check if the injectors or fuel pressure regulator are leaking. Get AFM computerize check to make sure its fine and not freaking.

i have a 2004 Lexus ES 300 and it keeps popping a code of P0420 and the check engine light is on for like ever. i have almost replaced all the things and still the check engine light is on

Suspension have any fluids???? Never knew and never heard of one. Good find for me.
If its very very mild noise then i suggest please forget it, as more cautious ear you give to your ride, you will assume and hear 100 things.
If ever something will go wrong, then you will hear it loud and audible decibel level then you can think or know yes this is wrong. These minor things eventually get you spend too much on guesswork, where you might know in end it is normal and every car and every LX have that small noise here and there.
