  1. Thanks @Frederic for a lovely fun drive this morning … was a nice refreshing drive through beautiful farms (Cows in desert was surely a unique element), wet dunes and some nicely lined up camel racing tracks. It was my second drive through this route with you and not sure why but the couple of crossings through high bushes on both sides is something that always sticks with me here, just enjoy the feel of it 😀 Though we had to cut down the track a bit due to some long stoppages (tyre issue and couple of interesting stucks), the energy of the convoy and your ability to keep the tempo high ensured we all ended the drive with a smile. The whole convoy drove really well. It’s not easy adapting to fast changing terrain (and it changed quite a bit through the drive), the whole convoy managed it with elegance and style. Despite it being a long convoy the communication was smooth and reflects very positive on temperament of all the drivers. @Danish Mohammad and @Dodi Syahdar was nice catching up with you both. Thanks for your support @Mike M. brilliant second lead 👍 @lucas amat was really fun seeing you handle that jeep smoothly through the drive - no extra gas and very good control. @rohit kumar it was nice to hear your Raptor roar through the terrain . I know at certain moments we enjoy the beats from engine, however, as Fred mentioned during briefing as well, one of the key elements of off-roading is to be able to do most with min utilization of car power (can assure you will need all of it when you go ahead in levels). @Theo09 was really nice to see your vehicle in the rear view mirror - very smooth communication and handling of vehicle. Perhaps a bit more work on keeping up with convoy speed Owise you were really amazing today. Rest of convoy I didn’t have direct view but overall every one did really well. Thanks for a lovely morning out on sand.
  2. Hey @imranaasghar81 hope nothing major? Will miss you, wish your car a speedy recovery - wallet recovery in Dubai is always a challenge 😀
  3. Thanks @Frederic looking forward to it. We have a nice long convoy, beautiful weather forecast for tomo - a perfect setting for this drive through an awesome terrain. See you all tomo 👍👍
  4. Thanks @Gaurav and @Frederic for the lovely highly informative session today - Thrill is not in just letting the things flow, it’s about enjoying the nature while respecting the challenges it brings with it and managing those challenges with open eyes. Thanks all for actively participating and making it an immersive experience. Special thanks to @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler for letting me hop in and providing me with my first off road experience as a passenger.
  5. I m not afraid 😀😀😀 PS: never seen Dodi stuck so challenge is on you.
  6. Hahaha For that you have rightly positioned the V8 power of @Waqas Parvez and @Lawrence_Chehimi
  7. Looking forward … hey @Dodi Syahdar good to see your name in convoy order after ages… now I can have a nice drive, have the old pal Raptor next to me to tug me off any crest. 😜
  8. Wish you a speedy recovery @Ale Vallecchi and @Hisham Masaad. With Christmas time coming in and weather getting really nice, we need you both in best of health to take us through some of the loveliest of terrains and scenic drives in UAE. @Ale Vallecchi my dslr and jerry cans are set and waiting for you to post soon your signature LRDC drives … 😄 Take good rest and get well soon.
  9. Lots of development in Dafrah and Sweihat going on so very cautious with the plans …
  10. Wow … looking forward to hear the story of how these three managed to reach there. 😀😀 Is this the one where two actually came to recover the first one? 😜😜😜
  11. Don’t worry after this drive you will be busy - disposal of torn off clothes and trying to get rid of sand off yourself 😀😀 (atleast in my case both of these are important before I reach home, don’t know why my wife doesn’t go on vacation alone - been long waiting for a vacation 🤣🤣)
  12. Hello all 1st Dec night campers, someone forgot a blue camping chair at camp site. It’s with me. @Gaurav Soni @Srikumar @Frederic @Simon D @Rob H @JeromeFJ @Mario Cornejo @DP1011 , Deepak wrangler @Gok Krish @Karthik Raptor @imranaasghar81 in case I have missed to tag anyone who was there, please share the message.
  13. Doc in lizard pose @Chaitanya D … no way would have missed out on yoga pose while being in serene Liwa 😀
  14. Thanks @Jaro Tuzinsky without this wouldn’t have had the chance to use the ropes through this drive. Wouldn’t have felt that we completed the YT 😂😂
  15. 365 days of wait. 30+ days of lively planning and contributions by more than 25 Team Carnity members, under leadership of @Gaurav @Srikumar and @Frederic, to make this exploration safe and special. 3hours of drive from Dubai. And eventually a drive (rather an experience) worthy of all above and much more. All explorations/journeys eventually reach the final point and end, what’s left are the memories, and If companionship is good, these memories are etched on the lovely sections of brain and heart for ever. Thanks all for making this YT drive a wonderful memory to cherish forever. Thanks @Chaitanya D for leading us through this beautiful terrain. Your calm and smile made it easier for us all. @M.Seidam every time we drive togather, you amaze me with your energy and management of recoveries. @Waqas Parvez @Vaibhav @ASAD. @Karthik Raptor your energy and camardarie kept the convoy togather and lively throughout. @Jaro Tuzinsky thanks for lovely aerial shots, nicely captured the magnificent Liwa. @Patrick van der Loo @Richard Franks @Bjoern @Senthil Kumar @Pascal thanks for being there and making it an amazing day out on dunes of liwa.
